While I don’t use the back support all that much, the seat cushion allows me to sit for several hours with no pain or pressure. It’s very thick so it may not be ideal for a tall person, but since I’m short, the height works well for me. My once injured tailbone feels no pain either since this is designed to take off the pressure in that area. Rather than spend hundreds of dollars on an ergonomic office chair I thought I'd try this cushion set. I picked it because the seat cushion was the same size as the chair, whereas some of the competition has a much smaller cushion. The back rest was easy to strap on to the back of the chair, and the result was better than I expected. I now sit on this all day, and though I do need to adjust both the seat cushion and back rest sometimes when I sit down again, it's very comfortable once it is 'dialed-in'.
