Really enjoyed putting together this 1000 piece Funnybox Puzzle. The puzzle is a wooden one, was a standard grid-cut and had letters on the back. Piece size was larger than average, but not as large as some other popular brands. This was helpful to me. It came with a big poster which was was a good guide. Although I normally only do 500 piece puzzles, having the letters in back helped make this puzzle easier for me as I completed it sections at a time. My only complaint is that for 3 puzzle pieces, the wood backing came off, and I had to glue it back together. Otherwise, it was a good puzzle. I’ll be ordering more from Funnybox on Amazon as their Japanese themed artwork are gorgeous.

This is my first time working on a jigsaw puzzle. I wanted one that would be relatively easy. This was perfect! The fact that you can work on it in sections made it easier and it takes up less space since you don’t have to lay out all the pieces at once. The letters also facilitate placing pieces as they show which direction the pieces fit. Plus the very distinct design makes this an easy puzzle. The quality of the puzzle itself is great. Pieces interlock well. It is possible to hold it up as it stays together. So you can move it out of the way if necessary. My husband and I really enjoy working on it while in lockdown.

We've never put together a wooden puzzle. Some pieces required a firm push to get in, but mostly the pieces went in easily. One piece came separated from it's backing, but we glued it back together with a glue stick. No problem. It is a beautiful puzzle, comes in a pink mesh bag, and has blank balsa wood to fix broken pieces if needed. There is a bit of puzzle dust/tiny wood sheddings, but not a problem. It isn't too hard or too easy. There were no missing pieces. I have found with all our puzzles if there is a missing piece, we write the seller, NOT AMAZON, and the sellar always mailed us a new puzzle.

I love this puzzle! It’s beautiful. The pieces are thick and lock into place, therefore you can’t mistakenly put a piece in the wrong spot. The poster that comes with it is the size of the finished puzzle which makes it very helpful. The pieces are lettered on the back so that you can divide them up by sections. I used the letters to get started on the bottom and then ignored them. For me it’s more fun that way. This would be a lovely gift as well, for a puzzle lover. It’s challenging, but not frustrating. You can always use the letters to make it easier.

I was not missing pieces like some reviewers. The picture is beautiful, but the scale is different from the picture. Thank goodness they have the regions marked on the back of the pieces - some of them are so similar, it would be impossible to put them together, otherwise! Some of the pieces are a little difficult to fit, I really had to push hard to get them in there. I liked that it came with a large print of the puzzle, nicely packaged in a mesh bag. This one came in a standard cardboard box (the other one I bought just had a label slapped on the package). After i finished and tried to disassemble, I had a good laugh - it rolled up completely, without even popping a seam! More difficult to take apart than put together. We quickly learned that, by taking large chunks and putting them back in the bag, we could shake the bag and it would help separate them without destroying them.

Overall, despite some issues, I will probably buy from this company again. Pros: - The image is beautiful. Very vibrant colors. - The puzzle came with a full-sized colored poster. This would make finding the correct placement for the pieces very easy. - Once complete, the puzzle is VERY sturdy. You can pick up the entire puzzle using 1 hand and it stays together. No puzzle glue is needed. No backing to support the puzzle is needed. - The size is nearly perfect with the advertised size. Only off by about 0.5 mm. It was rather difficult to find a frame to fit the size of the puzzle, though. I used Craig Frames 0.75-inch Wide Frame, 20 x 30-inch. Cons: - Because the puzzle pieces fit in tightly, some of the pieces were a little difficult to fit into place. They required pushing from multiple angles several times. The last piece was the most difficult to put in. - Many of the pieces had wood slivers hanging off of them. That said, I've had blue paper puzzles that do the same thing with the backing paper hanging off. It did not affect the final look of the puzzle. - One piece was broken. However, again since the puzzle pieces fit together so well, I was able to fit the small broken section in and it stays put without glue! The picture is visibly damaged, though. - I had a single extra, duplicate puzzle piece. No pieces were missing from my puzzle.

This is a very pretty puzzle. I framed it. There was no puzzle dust. also no bent or missing pieces. It was a bit of a challenge but in a good way. There is a grid in the back and a poster is included, if you use them. I would buy puzzles from this company again.
