Excellent little product and cheap.Watering hanging baskets

Really badly made and very unreliable. Wouldn't trust it if away on holiday for fear of it staying open and flooding the garden. I've had other similar timers (in the same enclosure design), which worked ok so not sure why this make is so bad.

I bought this because I was going on holiday and didn't want my vegetable patch to dry out in the "heatwave". It worked really well, got home to nice healthy plants and the tap doesn't seem to have leaked. You attach the device to the tap, put in 2 AAA batteries, and then set the timer for when you want it to come on, and for how long. The only annoying thing is that you have to set it at the time you want it to begin. For example, if you want it to come on at 6am, you have to set it at 6am today, and it will start watering from 6am tomorrow. It would be much better to just choose the times you want on a clock face.After a week on holiday it hadn't failed (my big concern) and is still working now, so I'm happy.

Does the job brilliantly, went on holiday for a week and it keeper my four tomato plants watered.

This item was delivered sharply, easy to install but didn't work. Contacted seller with no reply so wasted money.

Handy gadget for holidaymakers.We have a lot in our garden, veggies , fruit and plants. It's a huge favour to ask for our friends to come and water it all. We have left rotating sprinkler in the middle of the garden and set it to work every 24h for and hour.It uses 2 batteries that are inserted in the gray drawer. (We forgot to insert them at first and wondered why wouldn't it work) ;o)The only minus is that our tap was leaking when we installed it and we had to use white plumbing tape to remove the leak. But I think it's faulty tap rather than gadget.

This automatic hose timer works perfectly after simple setup. It's very easy to do but a bit odd compared to setting normal electronic timers. You basically have to set it up at the actual time of day you need it to work and it simply times hours from that point. There's no time-of-day clock to set. Ours is now administering watering twice a day, morning and evening and has worked perfectly from day one. I'm very pleased with quality and price.after two days water would not stop comeing out of the timer the timer will not stop.
