OLYPHAN Black Cat Tail Costume Accessory Neko Long Tails for Women - Costume for Halloween & Cosplay Adult/Adults

My daughter chose this tail to complete her Halloween costume (cat, if that wasn't obvious!). She is wary of safety pins, which is how most costume cat tails are fastened to the user's outfit. This one looked so much better for her because it was a "belt style" - no safety pins! It seems to stay up well, surprisingly. Paired it with paw "gloves" and a cat mask and we were good to go. For reference, my daughter is a 10 year old who wears girl's size 14-16 (she is 4'10 and 105 lbs). The belt is stretchy and she doesn't find it too tight, but I don't think it would be a comfortable option if you are over, say, a women's size 4. It is definitely better sized for older kids, preteens, and smaller teens/adults. It leaves slightl mark on her skin if she wears it a few hours but doesn't seem to bother her at all. The tail does bend and holds shape well for photos, but after wearing it for a while it seems to straighten out a bit and lose shape. No matter, my kid loves it and now wears her cat tail all over the house - definitely perfect for our needs. I think she almost fooled our real cats into thinking she was "one of them"...

My autistic son has been semi-obsessed with the tail on his Sorcerer Mickey plush animal and I figured he'd have fun with this. I was right! I walked into his room wearing it and he immediately stopped what he was doing and ran over to check it out. I took it off and he put it on and left it on the rest of the day and showed it to my wife the instant she pulled into the driveway. I'm pretty sure he's wear it when we go out to do stuff or to school if we let him, but he understands the limits. Anyway, it seems well made and it looks exactly like Mickey's tail (there are LOTS of different kinds of costume tails to choose from on Amazon), so it was perfect for him. And you can't beat the price so that even if he didn't go for it you haven't lost that much money. I would recommend.

I bought two other tails online and didnt like them. I was so happy when this one was perfect. It's the right size..I'm 5' 3" 115. The tail is fuzzy but not too bushy and I like the strap. It was too tight on me but I just added a couple more inches of elastic and it was perfect.

Works well, best for those at/under women's size 18 (US). Had to cut the waistband to fit into it but can attach it another way next year. Love that it has a little curl to it but it doesn't bend/stand up like it had wire in it.

Metal wire in tail allows kid to shape it. Held up well to rough play. Belt is a bit large so we tied a bit in it. It came down to just touch the floor on 5yr old

This tail came with a child size elastic strap to wear around the waist. I was able to cut it off and use the felt fabric that the tail was mounted on, and pin it to my hubby's costume pants in the back near the waistband, to complete his homemade Flying Monkey costume for a costume party. The tail also has a wire nicely sewn inside, so I could shape the tail to curl up however I wanted. It’s going in the costume tote for the next Monkey!

Worked for my daughters Cat in the hat costume for Halloween. But the tail just dangled. The metal piece inside didn't keep its shape when attempting to bend it, might as well not even had it inside the tail. So it just hung there, so not exactly what we wanted but was good enough but had hoped for better quality.
