The reason I started looking for a solution to my dry mouth was at a regular dental cleaning they said I had several cavities and it appeared as the cause was dry mouth. They asked about my medications and sure enough 2 of them cause dry mouth as a side effect. One I quit taking but the other is necessary. So I had several fillings and the dentist suggested I look for some over the counter help for dry mouth. I tried some lozenges during the day and they were ok but didn't solve the issue of overnight. I woke up often and drank a lot of water through the night but it didn't help. Finally I ran across XyliMelts and they said you can stick them onto your tooth/gumline and they just melt through the night. Sounded a little strange but I read a ton of reviews and they were very positive. The way they work is they are made of Xylitol which helps your mouth create saliva. Every product I tried has Xylitol in it I believe, and that's probably because it works really well to help stimulate saliva production. The first night I tried them (my main issue is overnight but these can also be used during the day) it took me a few tries to get them stuck on comfortably but it wasn't terribly difficult. I tried the Strawberry Smoothie flavor first and it was just a light pleasant taste. But the best part was I slept through the night! When I woke up, my mouth was not parched! My lips weren't cracked, there wasn't any pain or discomfort from dry skin causing tiny breaks and tears. I was so amazed! I slept about 6 hours that night and they lasted, in the morning I spit out 2 small pieces. I use 2 when I sleep. A huge relief is these are sugar free and ZERO calories 🫶 Everything has calories it seems lol. They also come in a bunch of different flavors. I have found my favorite flavor is Slightly Sweet and it's just as it sounds, a faint sweet taste. So far all the different flavors are very mild, light tastes. Almost barely there but also pleasant. Finding this affordable product has likely saved my dental health. I was beginning to suffer pain from dry mouth. Once the dentist fixed the decay being caused from dry mouth, and I started using this product, I haven't experienced any pain. The best news is the dentist says there are no new issues. I have been using the product for about 5 months now. I use 2 each night unless I happen to fall asleep before I put them in place. I always wake up if I forgot them lol. It's been a huge blessing to get such better rest since I'm not waking up a million times to drink water that never could truly quench the dryness. Cause water doesn't stimulate saliva production but XyliMelts do! They work, they last throughout the night, they haven't caused any side effects or upset my stomach. I couldn't be happier to have found something that will help my teeth stay healthier. I wish I knew the seriousness of dry mouth caused by certain medications sooner, before it caused damage to my teeth. But now it won't happen again and I'm sleeping well because my mouth is moisturized. No more dry as a desert mouth 😶😂 Seriously, this is a fantastic product.

These do work for very dry mouth. My dentist recommended these because l am on a medication that causes dry mouth. I had no idea it could be this uncomfortable ! It gets to the point I cannot spit after brushing my teeth, can’t make the kiss sound to call my dog, even my voice has been affected. It’s the worst. Sometimes though one tab isn’t enough. I use 3 at once at night. One on each side of mouth between my teeth and cheek, sticking them to my cheek and one on the roof of my mouth. If you have trouble with them sticking to your cheek, definitely try the roof of your mouth. The taste is extremely mild. It’s hard to describe but the flavor but it’s not unpleasant in any way. I rather like it. You get more of a very slight gel consistency when they melt which is what you want. They last in my mouth for hours. I haven’t timed it but it’s half a night’s sleep some nights if I’m asleep. During the day they don’t last as long but still a long time. I’ve been trying different products for dry mouth and I do like to mix it up but this is my go to for serious dry symptoms and nighttime. I really like the sticking feature they have. Will continue to buy.

These work really well. I initially got the minty one and it was very uncomfortable to use. The mint taste became too much after some hours. However the slightly sweet one barely has a taste, its pleasant in general and has really helped with dry mouth over night.

I purchased these XyliMelts to help with dry mouth, especially overnight. The concept is interesting—they have an adhesive side that sticks to your gums or teeth and slowly dissolves while you sleep. The biggest positive for me is that they actually stay put. I was worried they would fall off after a few minutes, but they adhered well and generally remained in place throughout the night. The flavor is mild and pleasant without being overpowering, which I appreciated. That said, I was expecting a bigger improvement in moisture. While they did seem to help somewhat, they didn’t make my mouth feel nearly as hydrated as I had hoped. I still noticed some dryness by morning, just not quite as much as usual. For me, the effect was more moderate than dramatic. I’ve included photos showing the packaging, directions, nutrition information, and the melts themselves so other shoppers can get a better idea of what they look like before purchasing. Pros: * Sticks well and stays in place * Mild, decent flavor * Easy to use before bed * Large bottle with plenty of melts Cons: * Didn’t provide as much moisture relief as I expected * Results were noticeable but not a complete solution for dry mouth Overall, these are worth trying if you struggle with dry mouth, especially at night. They helped some, and the adhesive design works better than I expected, but they weren’t quite the game changer I was hoping for.

I receive these for my dry mouth from being on CPAP and medications. They taste like advertised and have no odor to them. I find them very effective and they do not cause indigestion. I get them on the auto plan and they arrive every few months with no problem.

These are a fabulous product! I have been using them for years. As a CPAP patient, dry mouth during the night is a big issue. Xylimelts solves this completely. Each tablet has a concave side. After you moisten them in your mouth you stick the concave side onto your gums below your teeth, or inside of your cheek. There they stay firmly in place and slowly melt, keeping your mouth perfectly moist all night. My magic bullet is one on each side of my lower jaw and one stuck to the roof of my mouth. They last all night. Xylimelts come in several flavors. Slightly sweet is my favorite, because the mint is a little too strong for me. I cannot live without this product! My daughter does not have a CPAP machine but suffers with sinus congestion. She uses these every night to combat dry mouth associated with mouth breathing during sleep. PRO TIP: once you have them firmly in place, do not try to move them. They are solidly glued down and you can cause irritation by prying them up.

These work for dry mouth at night. I like the way they adhere where you place them in your mouth. I don’t have to worry about inhaling one when I start snoring or wake up and find it on my pillow or stuck to the sheets. One will last 8 -9 hours or until sunrise. Tried other brands and ended up with the above mentioned events having occurred. Will buy these again. I like the mint flavored and also tried the slightly sweet flavored ones. Good for daytime use also.

I think the manufacturer has a problem with quality control. I've always noticed a difference from one bottle to the next, but this last bottle was dramatically less effective. I usually get at least 5 to 6 hours at night before my dry mouth wakes me up, but this latest bottle I'm lucky to get 3 or 4. I had some leftover ones from a previous purchase in a travel bag and tried thoughs. That confirmed the difference. The active side of the new ones even look thinner.

I have a lot of problems with dry mouth when I sleep, and when I wake up. A friend recommended this product that I could use while sleeping. I can’t believe how great this works. I even pop another one in my mouth if I happen to wake up in the middle of the night. I’ve tried lots of different gels and sprays which do you work but only for a short time. If you have problems with dry mouth when sleeping and waking up this product is for you! You won’t be disappointed.

Great product; these melts are a life changer. I suffer from dry mouth due to medication and also use a CPAP machine at night. I use one of these melts every night and I can sleep all the way through without waking and coughing due to dry mouth. This bottle is great value too.
