Great little boat potty!
I bought this potty for our family's pontoon boat, since several family members developed conditions that require immediate potty access. Our pontoon boat has a small dressing room and this potty fits in there perfectly, and has provided 3 summers of much needed relief when spending hours out on the lake. I'd recommend this for anyone who needs a portable toilet for camping or any outdoor activity where quick access isn't avaliable. It's really a game changer.

It's been great
I ordered this in mid December of 2025 and got it soon after, so I have been using this for awhile now. I work as a truck driver. And let me tell you, this is one of my most important items. It has worked fantastic for me. I don't like using public restrooms. I will use them when I need to, and I appreciate them being there when I need it. But I like to avoid them if I can. I use this toilet every day, yes for both uses, you know what I mean. It has worked excellent. It is heavy when I have to take out the waste tank to dump it when it's full. It's a workout. But I'm young enough to handle it still so it's not that big a deal to me. Now the reader that is supposed to tell you how full it is hasn't been reliable. Some people might take a star off for that. I'm not going to because opening the valve to eyeball how full it is has worked just find for me so I don't really need the reader so it's not that important to me. A warning. When you open the valve leading into the waste tank, I highly recommend keeping the lid closed when you do. Because sometimes it might spit when opened. I learned this the hard way. And keep the lid closed when opening the valve to flush. So no nasty droplets get out. Now another thing. The bowl tends to stink very bad with use. But that is easy to work around by using toilet cleaners. I've used scrubbing bubbles gel you stick in the bowl which worked great, eliminating the bad smell. And I've also tried putting liquid solutions in the fresh water tank that you use for things like an rv toilet. Both worked great individually so easy fix. I also use the handle on the fresh water tank to ratchet strap the toilet so it doesn't fall over while I'm driving. No big deal. So yes, my experience is great besides a few minor things that either aren't a big deal to me like the reader for how full it is, have easy solutions to solve like the smell, or are just part of the learning process of using one of these flushing camping toilets. Besides those things, I have otherwise loved mine so far. Every time I dump it, I always give a thorough rinse out, filling it with a little water after dumping, shaking it real good, then dumping again. I repeat this a few times until the water coming out of it runs clear. Worth it so the waste tank doesn't smell over time. And every time I dump it and refill a little water in there to use again, I use one porta pak in the waste tank.

Value for it's money, weight and size.
So far I like this portable camping toilet. I was recently diagnosed with heart failure and my asthma is acting up on me again and I needed a toilet so in the middle of the night I'm not climbing up and down my stairs. I'm surprised at the sturdiness, it holds my weight of 290 lbs. I was also surprised about the height of this camping toilet it is only about a few inches short of a regular house toilet but it's usable, hey a saying in my family is "beggars can't be choosy" and I'm not choosy, I'm grateful. No leakage detected so far and that's good because it's in my old bathroom upstairs that my landlord took out several years before I moved in and there is no central air in this old house. So far I haven't noticed any smells coming from the toilet especially with the heat wave going through Ohio right now and that's also a plus. This toilet is way worth it's value.

Sturdy, well-made, but skip if you're tall, have mobility issues, or bad knees
Great, if you're an oompa loompa. The product is well-made and sturdy though. Skip if you're tall, have mobility issues, or just bad knees.

Outstanding Customer Service
I have been using this product for over 4 years. It has always been dependable and easy to use. The handle pull developed a small crack. I contacted their customer service and received a replacement part for an extremely reasonable price including shipping very quickly. Outstanding customer service.

Portable Luxury for Camping Families โ Glamping Made Easy!
Expectations and First Impressions Purchased nearly a year ago, I mainly wanted a portable toilet that would help my toddler feel comfortable on camping tripsโessentially a โhome pottyโ in the great outdoors. I also hoped it would control odors well and be relatively hassle-free to use and clean. Performance Evaluation This Alpcour portable toilet truly delivered! It quickly became an essential part of our camping kit and feels like a big upgrade, turning basic camping into more of a glamping experience. The odor control is excellent when you use proper treatment chemicals. There were no lingering smells, which is honestly the biggest win for our family. Cleaning is easier than expected. As long as you have access to a proper disposal location (most campgrounds or travel stops provide these), the process is straightforward and reasonably sanitary. The built-in pour spout and washing sprayer help a lot. The only drawback is the weightโonce the waste tank is full, it gets pretty heavy. Also, this is not a tiny accessory; it does take up a fair amount of space in the trunk. Pros: โข Odor control is very effective with correct treatments โข Easy to clean especially with the pour spout and sprayer โข Makes camping far more comfortable, especially for young kids โข Sturdy and feels much like a regular toilet โข No leaks or spills during travel Cons: โข Bulky design takes up significant space in the car or tent โข Heavy when full, so may be tricky to carry to the dump station โข Needs access to regular camp disposal sites for easy emptying Comparison to Product Description The product matches Amazonโs description wellโno surprises here, and all the features claimed (flush system, sturdy seat, effective seal, portability with carry bag) hold up in real use. Final Takeaways If you camp with children or just want a convenient, odor-free bathroom solution for the outdoors, this is absolutely worth the space it requires. Plan for its size and full-tank weight, and youโll likely be as happy as we are. Makes family camping trips much easier!

Performed better than I could have hoped for
I used the toilet on a 3-day 72-mile trip down the Green River last week. We had 5 people on the trip. The flushing mechanism worked way better than I expected. No problems. The carrying bag was great. I just pulled the bag down below the valve when we set it up each evening. I carried the toilet in my canoe the whole trip. Absolutely no odor detected. I emptied it in a trailer dump station when we got back and rinsed it out with the hose they provided. That was simple and easy. I am very pleased.
