That Perfect Sweet Spot
This arrangement of gauges... It's a nice middle ground between the ease and playability afforded by Super Slinkys alongside the tonal richness and sustain of Regular Slinkys. And they're Ernie Ball strings, which means they have brilliant longevity, price, and tone from beginning to end.

Perfect Goldilocks feel between 9 and 10 sets.
I’ve used the similar Daddario 9.5-44 set for years. The regular 9 and 10 sets were either too floppy/uneven or too stiff, respectively. The main thing I didn’t like about the 9.5-44 set was the B string, which always felt looser than the rest of them. It always felt like it’s stuck out like a sore thumb, but I just put up with it. So when I saw Ernie Ball made an identical set except for a very slightly larger B string (12 vs 11.5), I bought the three pack for the heck of it to see how they fared. Ernie Ball strings always had a warmer rounder tone right out of the package, and it was nice to go back to that sound after all these years (I used Pink Slinky’s back in 1994). With a tighter and more even feeling B string now, I think this is going to be my go to set for all of my guitars. I’ve had this set on my guitar for about three weeks and they still sound fresh. I don’t gig or anything so it’s usually an hour or two a day after work in the air conditioning. They seem like good strings and aren’t going dull yet, which was how I remember them back in the 90s. Highly recommended.

All about the feel!!
I just don't like how they feel!! Tone seems ok along with quality but not the right string for me. This is very, subjective so don't rely on my opinion. Try them yourself. I'm going back to my old brand. Also it could be my guitar. It does have a PRS style trem and warm low output pickups so that maybe a factor. Intonation & stability seems fine. They aren't to tight or hurt but don't like the sound or feel. Just ok! I like brighter I guess. Hope this helps!!

GREAT STRINGS!
Perfect for my taste! Slinkier than .010s and brighter than .009s!

Good solid strings
Love these strings and how they're set up gauge wise almost thick as a 10 on the bottom but it keeps the top e string small great sounding

switching to Ernie Ball
Had been using D'Addario's standard 9-42 since the 80s but was trying a higher string gage. 10 was too much, so I tried 9.5 not realizing they were Ernie Ball. They are great. I will probably go back to a 9 set, but it will be Ernie Ball.

Perfekt om man vill gå från .009 till .010
Kvalité som vanligt , mitt emellan 009 & 010

If you're not looking to make crazy bends in your riffs, go for it!
Usually I play the normal 9-42 gauge but I tried this one cause it was on sale and I gotta admit, I do enjoy the sound of this much more. I didn't normally play around with different string gauges but if you want a slightly deeper richer sound than your normal gauge, go for it. EB strings are definitely worth the money considering other companies also have similar price points with little variation. Also compared to other strings, I feel like EB are a lot more comfortable to play. The nickel wounding feels better on the fingers compared to other brands. I mean it's popular for a reason so definitely go for it!

Virou meu novo encordoamento preferido
