Will this charger also work for an Oxygo battery which look exactly the same?

I would ask the manufacturer for sure but you are right they are look alike I do not sell that model however their distributed should be able to tell you I can ask Imogene in the am if you wish without asking I wouldn't want to steer you wrong

Does the battery have to cool before using the external charger? If I don't cool it, the red light blinks and it never charges!

You must have a defective battery. Mine never get that hot while in use or charging. Call Imogen and they will send you a new one

The Inogen One G3 External Battery Charger comes with a 1 year warranty from Inogen. In my years of doing this, I don't think I've made more than a handful of warranty claims on the external battery charger. It's very well made!
