It scares the living sugar out of people, but if they’re walking in the bike lane that’s exactly what you need. I have a lot of tight blind corners on my route and this gets peoples attention when they’ve got earphones in. One driver said the only issue is if they heard it on the road, they wouldn’t know it was me making the noise - the high pitched beep or tweet might be more distracting to drivers than a horn or bell sound, making them look around thinking “what was that?” Rather than instantly knowing it’s a cyclist/e-cyclist and being able to act right away. I use it on cycle lanes so it does exactly what I need it to. It mounts on your handle bars with a rubber and plastic jubilee clip style mount, easy to secure and detach but doesn’t wobble, it’s stayed secure on potholes and speed bumps perfectly fine.
