These are perfect for kneading and rolling out fondant. I am new to cake making and I don't make super large or extravagant cakes. For a beginner it is a thousand times better than using the table with cornstarch over and over. I still use it but it won't stick to the mats if it is not on there. They are affordable and easy to clean and store.

there are two in the package. They work well. I was surprised at the size a little small but the size is on the site I just didn't check it out. It is easy to clean and very versitile. I love this for crafts and helps keep my area clean.

These mats are good for a variety of things. I use them for manicures, crafting and coloring with my alcohol markers. They are a little a on the small side for a couple of things, but overall are a decent size at a great price.

Got this so that my grand kids could play with Legos or Playdoh just about anywhere in the house. Helps keep the Legos from going everywhere and helps keep Playdoh from ending up on surfaces I don't really want it. For these tasks, they work great. Just be sure to store them covered as the smallest amount of dust will quickly collect on these.

I've use several brands and styles of silicone mats as sculpting/baking surfaces for polymer clay over the years, and I have to admit that I just tacked these onto another order because they were crazy cheap and my existing options were getting a bit worn. However, these are FAR better than expected on many levels: 1. They're a perfect size (many others fall into the "Goldilocks category" of too big or too small). 2. I love that they have both a smooth/shiny side and a matte side, both because polymer clay can pick up the texture of what it's baked on, and sometimes one or the other is better for a specific project. Also, if you're using it strictly as a work surface vs. transferring your work surface to the oven (i.e. not also baking on it), smooth surfaces are much easier to roll and remove unbaked clay. 3. Since these were "2 for the price of one" (and that price was honestly way cheaper than most other single options I've purchased), they're an excellent value. 4. I love that they're solid pieces of silicone, because a few others that I've bought peeled into 2 layers over time - even ones that were specifically marketed for clay. 5. They're a decent thickness. Some of the thinner ones I've tried end up getting curled edges over time vs. continuing to lay flat (the same ones that also peeled into layers). Note: If you're looking to protect the underlying surface from something like a very high heat gun setting, I might recommend either a thicker option or doubling these up since there are 2 of them. 6. Both the adhesive side and the shiny side really do "stick" to the underlying table, countertop, etc. to keep them from sliding around. 7. I went for the pink/blue color combo because I personally couldn't care less about color, the different color options had different pricing, and these were the cheapest option. However, they did also offer other choices if someone else did care about that aspect.
