Benzoin 40% Dilution Essential Oil - Natural, Unadulterated, Premium Benzoin Essential Oil Diluted to 40% in Benzyl Benzoate (10ml)

This arrived about fifteen minutes ago and I opened it straight and away to inhale in hot water. I've had almost continuous sinus pain for months and in the past, Friars Balsam had been my saviour, but they stopped making it after I tried my first bottle. I can't remember what fb smelt like but within minutes of using this, mixed with some menthol, I can breathe. I hadn't actually realised I couldn't, I was more bothered about face pain, but it feels good, really good! I'll continue to use this and might try in an oil burner. Hopefully it will sort out the pain too

I am concerned about this product - when it arrived the top wasn't sealed, there was no leaflet with product information inside and there is nothing on the bottle label except the company name and the name of the oil itself - not even an expiry date. As I am studying aromatherapy at university this makes me very suspicious about the quality of this oil and i am hesitant to use it. It is not one of the cheaper bottles either so i expected much better. It does not smell anywhere near as strong as the brand we use at college and I would not recommend anyone buys it. I will be checking with my tutor before i use it at all.

Bought this following reviews as I am exploring. not sure about it. it is indeed very thick, heavy oil. I use only two drops of it in diffuser, but it still leaves a very oily residue in the container after being diffused. I'm not even sure about the scent. Don't know what to do with it.

The bottle was opened when it arrived and there is no benzoin smell! Actually, there is no smell at all, a little whiff which is barely noticeable is very unpleasant.I have no idea what’s in the bottle but I do know it is not benzoin.Returning it.

Great quality for the price. Even at 40% dilution, it smells quite strong with lovely sweet vanilla like notes. I've tried benzoin from other manufacturers (undiluted), but this one is much superior.It seems that absolute aromas oils are generally more potent and better quality than some of the cheeper alternatives I've purchased on Amazon and Holland and Barrett. I will keep buying from this company again.
