Just bought them again. They are great for the price! I believe our last set lasted us probably a year or a year and a half. I believe that that is just fine when you're getting three of them for $14! The spring just wore out on one of them and I can feel the other one getting loose so thought it was time to order another set.

I am a tong snob... I have had the same pair of 9" tongs for years and they finally broke apart a few months ago. In the search to find a suitable replacement, I have bought (and returned) at least 10 different replacements but this is the first pair that works for me. It is light, gets a hold of a huge variety of foods, and has just the perfect amount of spring. Thrilled it comes in a set of 3 so when the pair that is in my rotation dies, I will have a replacement! Thanks for making these!

As expected, not high end, but wanted multiple, utilitarian tongs.

Not sure why it is so hard to find the sliding clasp style tongs but these were about the only ones available on amazon. Pull tab are inconvenient because they require a second hand or your teeth to pull the tab when you want to lock them closed. Sliding clasp are nice because they require only one hand. However, they do the trick but the tongs my sibling gave me from the Culinary Institute or Art were solid. There feel like they will bend if I squeeze too tightly. Variety of sizes are nice. They don't feel like they will last.

I was searching for tongs without the pull out on The bottom. These are excellent and heavy duty. I'll buy again.

Terrible quality. They are super flimsy and sharp. They are not usable at all. Will be sending them back

Bought as a gift. The recipient likes them. They are indeed flimsy as mentioned in other reviews, but the thin metal makes them very agile in serving mode, which is the purpose intended. Cannot be washed in a dishwasher. There are two different metals used to construct the tongs, and the dishwasher detergent would corrode the stainless steel through electrolysis, accelerated by the high temperature. Wash by hand.

These are terrible. They’re thin and wobbly. I haven’t cut myself on the edge but I can see why other people have had it happen. I don’t expect these to last more than a couple months. Get what ya pay for I guess!
