Citronella Candles in Coarse Pottery Container, Natural Soy Wax Candle Outdoor and Indoor

This is an expensive looking candle that also has the benefit of repelling mosquitos. It is definitely hostess gift or otherwise gift worthy. The lid protects the wax when not lit and serves as a beautiful decorative piece that works with most any decor. I use it on my covered front porch and the heat of the summer has not affected it. If you like the way it looks on the company's posting, you won't be disappointed if you order it. Note: After several days of hot weather the wax did melt through the container a bit since the vessel is a bit porous. The wax that melted through is only the white ring around the hole in the image I provided. I don't consider that to be a problem since it is up to me whether or not I bring it indoors. Also I had it sitting on a ceramic garden seat so the wax will clean off with no problem. However, if you are placing it on a surface that you wish to protect I recommend putting a glass or metal dish underneath to protect your fine furnishings.

This candle is great! Smells amazing, burns well and most importantly kept the bugs away! I keep this 100% outside and it hold up through the weather. Definitely worth the money if you’re in the hunt for a stylish and reliable outdoor candle to keep the bugs away

To be honest the scent is not my favorite but it’s handy for when i want to leave a screen less window open and detract mosquitoes. Still seeing if it’s super effective

We live in the South where bugs love to crash your evenings especially in the summer, but this little guy actually works! We keep it out on our balcony and it helps keep the bugs at bay without being overpowering. It smells nice—fresh but not too strong—and it looks pretty too. Definitely a vibe for summer nights outside. Will buy again when this one burns out.

I like how it looks like, but I haven't try it, yet. Product delivered unbroken and in time..

This candle had absolutely no scent. Usually citronella candles have a pungent scent. I would say there is no citronella in it. It also had a defect on the lid, there was a good size drop of paint that shouldn't have been on it.

These candles are really pretty and the container is nice quality, so they look great for outdoor decor. However, they weren’t as effective as I hoped when it comes to deterring bugs. They give off a light scent, but I didn’t notice much difference with mosquitoes. Good for ambiance, just not the best for bug control.
