Review: Getting red leaves in my seedling - I am writing in case others are having the same problem I have. I am getting red/maroon leaves in ALL of my seedlings this year, which is the first year I am using these LED lights. In doing a search online it looks like I should have the LED lights at a much higher distance (12+ in) than I did for my old T5 light system (3-6 in). So I raised the lights and will return if this does not do the trick. I also confirmed that I did not have the bloom/flower switch turned on (which apparently produces even greater light intensity). Other than this issue, I have had a problem with the light plugs being sensitive and if I bump the lights they sometimes turn off even though plugged in. I wiggle the plug and it turns back on. Running x8 240 watt lights will get hot. You’ll need supplemental AC of at least 5k btu. And if your VPD isn’t in check you’ll crash n burn. 4 light would probably be the limit without AC. High VPD can only take you so far. Recommendation 4 to 8 lights depending on how you grow. **Q: How much a month to run** A: So you have to do the math. But to help with that, running a 60 watts bulb is $17 a year at 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If you're paying 12 cents per kilowatt hour. It's 28.3 cents per watt running for a year.
