Good black resin
I use this for wing cases on perdigon flies Cures quickly but not viscous!

This UV head cement is great for making heads on flies that need a shiny finish on the head like a Mickey Finn .

Update
Edit: 3/31/21: After using the product on more flies, I need to change my original assessment. The black is as black as sally hansen np, and works very well. After zapping another thicker resin that creates the wing case, adding this black resin colors it beautifully. Changing my rating from 4 to 5 stars Original review: as thin as you'd expect based on the name. I love the uncolored version, but only like this one very much. The downside that takes my level of enthusiasm from love to really like is the coloration. As thin as the resin is, it should be expected that the color isn't, and likely can't be, similar to black nail polish. It's a rather watery black. Would I have purchased knowing that going in? Definitely. It would rate a 5th star if the black were as black as sally hansen nail polish, but it will still paint a wing case on a fly, just not quite as I'd thought.

Apply in thin coats
Needs to be applied thin otherwise the resin doesnt cure all the way through.
