It’s closer to red if that answers your question. It’s somewhere between dark and red which makes it seem lighter.

Do you have to pay for return shipping? Bought one from "Pakistan", the cut was bad, called about a return and had to send it to Dubai on my dime.

I purchased the jacket for a relative and purchased it through Amazon from a "Fulfilled by Amazon Seller" in the U.S. Which means that returns are paid for by Amazon. Your situation sounds different if you bought the same jacket from Pakistan, but had to send to Dubai at your cost.
