They worked good on a end grain project that I was working on they cut into some very hard maple end grain and it was pretty smooth as well

Exact rplacement blades
Blades fit perfectly and are an exact replacement for the original B&D blades. Planes very smoothly. Don't know the longevity of the blades yet.

Carbide is great
I was cleaning off adhesive on floor joists and went through three normal HSS blades before deciding to try out one of these. Finished the other half of the project without having to swap again. Sure you'll want to be careful that you don't hit nails with the carbide lest it shatter, but it's otherwise a far superior option for these power hand planers.

Don’t waste your time or money. These aren’t the same as the dewalt blades. Very brittle and literally crumble under the centrifugal force of the planer blade spinning. Can only imagine what would happen if it tried to plane something with these. Negative 5 stars.
