High quality material
Really high quality material. Feels smooth and also thick. A lovely colour - true to how it looks in the listing photo. I will definitely be getting more of this fabric in other colours now.You get a lot of material which I intend to use as an embroidery fabric (hand embroidery) and I think it’s going to be lovely!Highly recommend.

Good quality cotton for many types of projects
This is great quality cotton. I bought four metres of the white one. So far I have made one skirt and one dress for a one year old, as well as two pillow cases (UK standard size), and there's still plenty of fabric to go. It's nice and airy without being too see-through, but also doesn't have that stiff "standing on its own" feel to it. I really love the pillow cases, they are so soft, but I think this is a good study choice also for children's clothes. I am very pleased with this purchase.

not a full 3 metres!
Nice crisp fabric, yellowy cream colour, good thickness, not flimsy. I am pleased with the actual fabric. It is just what I needed. Has a weird musty smell but I'm sure this will wash out. However, I am not pleased that this is advertised as 3 metres when it is actually 2.9 metres. I would have returned it if I actually needed 3 metres. Especially as I ordered this more expensive fabric hoping it would be as advertised. Not happy!Update after washing: this was cool washed on a rapid setting (15mins) and line dried. On the plus side the musty smell has gone, but there are long vertical creases now which, although softened, have not gone away when sprayed with water and ironed on the hottest setting (see images). I am definitely not so pleased with the fabric now! (Btw - it did pass the burn test and appears to be 100% cotton.) I do not recommend this fabric.

As good as any brand name heavy duty quilting cotton at half the price!
Was a bit unsure about what this fabric would be like due to price being so much lower than the Kona cotton I was going to buy instead (twice the price at cheapest supplier, same spec) and am delighted to say it is fantastic quality! Perfect for quilting provided you want a good thick cotton as it isn't flimsy. I have test washed it and the shrinkage was 1.5" over 36" with no distortion at all (unlike a recent purchase from a big name designer range that had to have almost 20% trimmed off it twisted so much) I'm absolutely delighted with it.

Good for free-hand embroidery!
Using this for embroidery and am quite pleased: sturdy enough, tight weave, uniform colour (bought black, not jet black, which was listed as more expensive), decent price per meter. Will consider buying other colours in future!

Develops vertical creases
The fabric on opening was nice and smooth and seemed to have quite a bit of finishing in it so I cut off a 12 inch strip across the width, washed it by hand, dried, and it developed strong vertical lines as though it had been scruffily folded into one inch vertical folds and pressed. I ironed, the lines came out, and cut up into large 12 inch squares for a project.I transfered my design, coloured with inktense, and then washed flat, by hand in warm water. All the strong vertical creases came back. So, I don't think this is going to be suitable for what I wanted which was to do some freestyle machine embroidery plus inktense pencil work, as once in a quilt it won't be possible to ever iron it flat again, and the squares will be rather distorted. On the other hand it took the iron on transfer well, and the inktense pencil work spread out nicely with water but didn't run when I gave it its flat soak to make sure all the ink was activated (hope it's permanent). Not sure, but I will give a couple of squares a go and if no good for embroidery will use for practice and backing to the quilt squares.

Ordered for my mum's DIY
My mum using this to make covid-19 masks for the family red ones, she said it was really good quality when she felt it, I personally don't know anything about materials but she used to work in clothes back in the day and knows how to use knitting stuff, suffice to say if she thinks its good quality then it is.
