Love the look of these but only rated them 4 stars because the mounting bracket is pretty weird and non standard. It was really difficult to cover the existing hole from my current sconces. But they do look great!

We wanted to add some sconces to our little dining room and we were looking for wood elements. This did the job! I have it on a dimmer switch with LED bulbs and we’re very pleased! We may stain them to match our light fixture but the natural wood color is very aesthetically pleasing.

Finally installed this a year later due to ongoing renovations, then determining the best room for this piece. Looks great and as shown in photos although their photoshopped images can confuse the proportion of this sconce for their examples of where it is used. Came with very rudimentary instructions but had watched the video available from the webpage photo array. The video was key in showing certain aspects, although I didn’t re-watch it prior to placing since I am on a roll with sconce installations. However, I made the mistake of mounting it all saving the frosted glass section for last, when in fact the glass needs to be affixed to the wood unit prior to mounting. The main issues aside from even the video not being entirely step by step is the weight of the unit (given the glass) and not having that dangling from the connected wires before mounting on wall plate (that’s where extra set of hands help). The other issue on this and other sconces is that the area that covers the hole and electrical wall box is just tall enough to cover the hole (but definitely wide enough), so if you are replacing an existing sconce as I am, there is little room for error, and little wiggle room for placement. Also, I have been needing to source mounting plates for this horizontal flat bar to affix to. Since I have an array of sconces being removed, I was able to repurpose those, but it seems to be the norm that these sconces don’t take into consideration our 3.75 x 3.75 electrical boxes with screw holes on the diagonal, let alone that the opening required to cover (so you aren't’ seeing into the electrical box) is 4 x 4. This was a beast to mount alone. Not pleased with it being more of an up down light as much as it is outward so it shows wall flaws and not a lot of overall room illumination. The style looks great complimenting the wood in the room but need to supplement with other lighting.

Instructions for this are not helpful at all and some assembly is required. It's not standard and ours didn't come with a grounding wire so we had to get creative. If you're hoping to replace a sconce on your stairway, proceed with caution because you really need to be able to see from above to mount this to the wall plate it comes with. We ended up screwing the screws onto the plate, lowering the light onto them, and then using another nut on top to secure because we couldn't see the holes and get the screws to go into as shown in the video.

These wall lights are even better than the website description and photos! They provide a good amount of light and they are just beautiful! We’ve had many compliments on them already! Excellent product!!
