Giving one star as there is no option to give less than one. It is simply heena. Even heena works better than that. It doesn't color your hair at all. Just a waste of money. Totally disappointed after buying this. Please don't order this as there is no seal don't know if they are giving a genuine product or not because it doesn't work at all. Such a high price and no result.

The outer cover was not sealed so I am not sure the henna packet enclosed within is genuine. The product is unreturnable so it has been a waste of money

I've been using this product for years now. I use it every winter to get that warm, natural, darker, shiny look. It does a great job covering sun damage from the summer. It eventually fades away just in time for spring/summer again the next year. I always get compliments on how healthy and shiny my hair looks after using it but that's also because I don't use other chemicals in my hair the rest of the year. No harsh dyes or perms or other chemical treatments. Now for the cons. It can be messy. It can be very very messy. I actually do quit a bit of preperation before hand. I don't really like the hint of red so the night before I brew a pot of coffee and use that instead of water. The directions have different suggestions to get the look you're going for. You can add eggs or yogurt for deep conditioning. I actually add some 'Henna and Placenta' conditioner to the mixture for extra shine. Then I let the mixture sit for a few hours. In the meantime I cut up big plastic trash bags and spread them out all over the bathroom counter and floor. This stuff has a way of getting everywhere and it stains. Especially if your counters are white. Do not use anything metal or you'll end up a red head. Just read the directions thoroughly before you start mixing anything. Very important. I leave mine in for a few hours. I just wrap my head in plastic and put an old towel around that to keep the heat in. If you actually use heat you don't have to leave it in as long. The first few days after your hair may smell like burnt grass. I only rinse the first time and then wait 24 hours before shampooing. I really give the color a chance to soak in. Your hair may feel a bit stiff for a day or two but then your hair will be really soft and shiny after. It's definately worth aaaalllll the hard work.

This is the only henna I use on my hair now. There are so many choices out there, but most of them seem to contain harmful chemicals. This brand offers a good selection of colours and simplifies the henna dying process, as well as being transparent about the ingredients. It also comes with gloves and cap, which is quite handy. I also invested in some ear covers, which are like tiny shower caps that stop henna from going inside your ear canal. I learnt my lesson after pulling brown dye out of my ears for months! So yeah, my favourite brand. Others I've tried in the past were hit and miss, this one provides good results every time.

I've been dyeing my hair for a very very long time. I've also used henna before when I was red but I found it quite messy and just a pain in general. Now I've gone back to my roots (literally) and am dark brown mu hair was getting more and more damaged each time I coloured it. Sooooo I thought I'd give this a go and see what it was like. This is probably the best product I have used. The mess is minimal, henna doesn't come without mess but it wasn't half as bad as before. The results are also the best I've had. The colour is even, shiny, and it's the best dark brown I've had for years. Can't recommend enough!
