    The big book of dressage exercises

This book is simply amazing! I’ve now got loads of ideas to incorporate into our sessions. Recently, I’ve got a bit stuck in a rut with riding, doing the same thing each time, but this book has really helped me with finding new things to do when I ride. A fabulous thing is that there are different levels to each exercise, to work up to and in order to suit the ability that you are riding at, which is really helpful in progressing through movements. There’s plenty of space to create your own exercises as well, and the diagrams are very clear to make riding the exercises easy. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to improve their riding and find different things to incorporate into their sessions!

The book is big, kinda huge. If you are looking for a book to help you learn how to complete some of the dressage movements, its not going to teach you how to teach your horse to do a flying change. However if you struggle to keep freshening up your schooling routine and when to add circles or different bends then this book will help. Everyplace has a section for you to make notes, I think it is pointless to scribble in an expensive book, but it might be something some people find useful.

    Brilliant floor plans

A fantastic set of floor plans which can be used at all levels. It is a workbook and has plenty of room for notes. It has enabled me to continue my horse's education during the lockdown when lessons are not possible. However it is very BIG and heavy and so I have actually cut out all the pages to put into a ring binder so that just the floor plan which I'm working on can be taken into the arena.
