I use these as course books, for taking notes. They're good for that. The paper is good, it's an okay thickness, I use ball point pens so I wasn't gonna have problems. I tested a few tombows and it was fine, small bleed through with pigmented colours.When I bought these, they were £11. That was too expensive for what they are. They're school books with dot grid, which is what I wanted, but it's hard to find. I wouldn't dream of journaling in them, the card covers give no support, it's impossible to have it lay flat, there's always a curve as the spine is rigid.The books are fine, the price (went up to £15 while I waited on delivery) is VERY wrong, the way they're sold as a bullet journal is wrong, I knew that from the pictures alone, and it's not why I bought them, but when I held it I couldn't believe they're marketed as such. You could of course use any notebook for bullet journaling, but a book sold for that intention is usually of a much higher quality that matches the price. It's not just a case of using paper with dots.I enjoy using them for course work, I'd buy both for £7 if there was still a way to get free delivery

It always seemed like only line or dot paper could be made in to a high quality standard since I've noticed that graph/squares don't seem very popular with the more mainstream brands (and if they exist, they're unnecessarily expensive for subpar paper quality or very little pages or both). So I was already very happy when I came across Northbooks collection (and they have a good amount of pages too!). And when the books arrived... wow - It went above and beyond my expectations! The paper is so smooth and comfortable to write on. But it was the paper thickness and it's performance that completely won me over - it takes highlighter inks better than one of my notebooks that has 120gsm paper. The highlighters don't bleed at any point and the ghosting is almost non-existent. These books are absolutely worth every penny. I'm very happy I bought the 2-pack. If it's high quality square/graph notebooks you're looking for at a good price - this book is the answer. I didn't think it existed - I'm very grateful it does. Keep up the great work!!

I'm not sure whether the binding is sewn or glued but that doesn't matter to me. What does matter is having enough space to fully write and explore ideas, dreams and stories... and this is something these notebooks have. They are a full A5 and can open flat so you can write right into the margins. The paper is good quality and these books inspire me to pen to paper.I'm really happy with my purchase and will be using this brand again.

When I viewed these online, I thought they had the page holder, strap to secure the notebook and a pocket in the back. Needless to say I was a bit disappointed when I received them and they were not that. Apart from my obvious mistake in what I thought these were, they are quality notebooks (I purchased the 2 pack), and the dot grid is a great layout. I would purchase these again for just general notebook use, not for bullet journaling, etc.

Spent ages trying to track down high quality notebooks for a leather notebook cover my kids bought me one Christmas. I’ve since ordered about a dozen of these over several years. Quality is brilliant. I prefer the squares. My handwriting is still terrible - but at least the squares keep me on the straight and narrow. Yes they are relatively expensive, but the quality is brilliant.

The paper is great quality and it is a great product overall however there must have been some complications while in delivery as it came with multiple dents on the front and paint scrubbed off in multiple places on the front and back of the book cover.

Recently I can decided to go down the route of Bullet Journaling and for me these notes books have been great. I use ink pens and no bleed through so for me that is something I am delighted with, Def going to be getting some more later. Thank you and service was perfect too.

This notebook 2 pack is fantastic value. I've been using mine as a bullet journal at work and I love how tough it is and that the cover can bend back around to give me a clear view of a page. It's very versatile and I'm really enjoying using it. So much so that my friend took my spare one and I'll be buying myself some more in the future!
