I have been taking this product for around 3 years. I am diabetic and while this is a useful tool. It is not a miracle supplement. I have not replaced any of my doctor's therapeutic solutions with this supplement. However, based upon blood tests, I have observed that this supplement can reduce your blood sugar and LDL by a small amount. Consequently, I use it in concert with my doctor's current therapeutic solutions. Recently however, I have detected significant variability between bottles. I have found wide variation in the supplement's color (yellow to light brown) and texture (fine to granular). I do not know how to account for these differences but I must admit, it makes me question the product's standardized content.

I’ve gotten good results taking this supplement for high cholesterol. My numbers are lower than they have been in a few years.

I’ve been taking this berberine for about 6 months and it genuinely helped bring my numbers down in the first few months, so I know the product can work. However, my concern is with the more recent bottles. The newer capsules are noticeably slimmer and lighter than the ones I started with. I actually weighed several on a gram scale and saw a significant difference between older and newer pills (for example, ~0.87 g vs ~0.68 g). There’s been no notice on the bottle or listing about a reformulation, rebranding, or change in dosage, so I don’t know if the potency is the same. It feels like we’re paying the same (or more) for less product, and I’m worried future customers may not get the same results I did in the beginning. I would love some transparency from the company explaining the change and confirming that the strength and effectiveness are still equivalent. Until then, I’m a bit hesitant to keep buying, even though my initial results were very good.

DO NOT BUY OR USE BERBERINE FROM NUTRIVEIN. The quality control is TERRIBLE, the color of the contents of the capsules never the same. Sometimes the capsules are bright yellow, Sometimes brown and Sometimes black. The weight of the capsules and contents is also hit or miss weighing between .87 grams and .63grams and anywhere in-between. You never know how many capsules will be in each bottle, the bottle says 120 capsules but each bottle actually contains anywhere between 103 - 118 capsules. All of this screams quality control issues, huge issues. Without sending the product to a third party lab, at your own expense, there is no telling what is in the capsules. When I first started using NUTRIVEIN brand Berberine my A1c and glucose where in control but over the last three years my A1c and glucose are no longer in control even though I have the exact same clean diabetic diet, exercise habits, healthy weight etc. The only thing that has changed is the quality of NUTRIVEIN's Berberine. I have called the company which no one ever answers, left messages that no one ever responds to, emailed the company and no one ever responds. Their customer service matches their quality control, NON-EXISTENT. So I came to write a customer review to see if I can get a response. I will update this review to inform of their response, if I get one. Next, I go to our states Attorney General and let them see if they can get a response and I encourage all of the others that have the same experience to do the same.
