You can't go wrong with this ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for stainless steel. *by A***R on March 2, 2026* Never used it, kept it for a future project. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Strop material? *by K***I on May 25, 2014* I got this actually for a strop. I want to learn straight razor shaving, and I read to use this stuff. At first, I thought that it was too dry to use on the rubber, but after reading up on it, I found that you are supposed to condition the leather first, which is what I didnt do. Also, I bought some other stuff that they said was good for stops, and this seems on par with that stuff. I have used this to buff out some kitchen knives though, in combination with a buffing pad on a rotary tool, and it did an excellent job on them. Also, this stuff is made in the USA, and not in china like some other brands, which is a major plus to me. One thing I would like to say. The picture shows a block that looks white. this is not white. It is green. Much much greener and darker then the picture shows. Overall, there is nothing to complain about. It works good, does a good job, and is made in the USA. It may be a little more expensive then the cheap stuff, but i am more then willing to pay a little more to keep work here.
