Nice tank for the price!
I love my tank! I’ve only had it for a short time but when I pulled it out the box I was so happy! It has no damage and it takes up half the space of my old tank. My other tank was on sale and costs about $10 less than this one, but the appearance is no comparison. I absolutely love the front door. It took me a second to figure out the front door and top mesh locks. They are thin plastic and I didn’t want to break them. I saw a lot of people hated the foam piece it came with, but I think it’s a nice touch. I wish it didn’t have the molding impressions because it would actually look pretty realistic otherwise. I thought it was interesting that they design the back to be hollow for tubes or wires to be fed through. I will not be using that but I like that they though of that. I’ll be using my tank for a regular land snail. I haven’t put the snail in yet because it’s laying eggs, but I think she’ll be happier in this tank because it has more ventilation. I appreciate that the bottom is glass because I can keep an eye out for eggs. All in all, I’m extremely happy with my purchase. The only con I see in my personal opinion is that the plastic pieces are cheaply made. However, I will not be accessing them often and I’m okay with being extra careful. I think for the price, this tank is really nice! Update: I have since put my snail in the tank and I’ve never seen it so active! I think the height and vent design keep the inside moist. I use a spray bottle. The water collects on the top screen, which I appreciate! The screen is also very fine, so it’s much harder for gnats to get in. My pet also enjoys climbing on the foam piece that came with the tank. The size is suitable for my snail and would accommodate more. I think more than one of these tanks would look really cool next to each other. Would definitely order another, maybe larger one in the future and I would recommend for use with animals that don’t require a lot of space. Two thumbs up from me!

Perfect for baby crested geckos
My juvenile crestie loves it. Perfect little grow out enclosure. Looks sleek, and is pretty secure. For the money, this tank is a steal. I look forward to adding more Exoterra enclosures as he grows and will probably be upgrading my other crestie to one of these as well. I like the mesh top, hidden latch system for the door, and it just looks so cool with a few small plants and faux orchid. Very impressed for my first front open enclosure.

Great little tank
Ordered the 8x8x10 terrarium for a grow out for my baby mourning geckos. Obviously only big enough to house them for a couple months but will keep them from getting lost in my main 40 gallon tank until they are big enough. Shipped quickly and was packaged very well so nothing was broken on arrival. For the price I absolutely would order again if I need another.

Good enclosure
It looks great, good quality material. Unfortunately I'm going to have to make some diy adjustments in order for it to work for me. I plan to use this for a mantis and the metal mesh on the top is too harsh for mantis feet so I'll be removing it and using tulle instead. I wouldn't recommend using this as a paldarium because there is a space on both sides of the door where water could easily splash out and small bugs could crawl out. I'll have to do another diy rock or something to cover the holes. I also don't like how easily the slide in the back moves, I feel like it could easily let out pets accidentally. The size is perfect for insect pets. I would not recommend putting any reptile or amphibians in here if you want to keep your pet ethically. Although I'm not thrilled with the metal mesh I'm happy with the purchase. If the seller sees this I hope they take more pictures of their product because this easily could have been 5 stars if I had just known ahead of time about the metal mesh.

It's small but what my poor snake needs!
I have a very small, 2 years old, male Kenyan sand boa. He is a rescue and refuses to eat on his own. The pet store I got him from does not feed live mice to their pets and so for about a year and a half this poor guy was forced to eat food to keep him alive. I was given him because he was finally deemed unsellable. He prefers a small cage, being approached from the side and live food. And so began my search for the right cage. I had bought a critter keeper but I only stressed him out by reaching down at him. I then took my hot knife and cut the front out, using tape to keep him in. Not the best but it worked as I looked for a new cage. I searched online and this was the best. I love it! Unlike most of the reviews I read there is nothing wrong with the closing mechanism or any gaps in the door. It is watertight for the bottom part and my only real issue is because of the vent, sand can come up through it and get pushed out. Sand boas like to dig. Overall this is a great tank and I'm very happy I spent the money for it! I'm not sure if I would recommend this tank only because of how small it is. if someone has a similar situation or keeps bugs then this is definitely the tank you need! This is yet another Exo terra tank I'm proud to own!

Excellent product!
I really like this terrarium. It is built well, and it is designed for optimal viewing of the creatures or plants inside of it. It comes with a great removable piece of foam in the back that is painted to look natural. The foam makes it easy to stick plants or decorations into and it also has room behind it to run wires without disturbing the natural appearance of your terrarium. I am personally using this for an arboreal tarantula, and it is absolutely perfect. The huge door in the front makes it quite easy to access the inside, and the screen lid is easily removable as well. The terrarium has a waterproof base that will hold about 2 inches of substrate. I would say that this terrarium is suitable for all kinds of small reptiles, amphibians, and arachnids. It is perfect for arboreal spiders like the Avicularia genus, although a larger enclosure may be required for an adult specimen. It would also be great for poison dart frogs, or anoles. I would not however use this item for any species that burrows, as it only allows for 2 inches of substrate. This is a great purchase if you really want to have a beautiful display. It may be more expensive than a regular terrarium but I think it's well worth it.

High quality product for a good price
I love exo terra products and this one is no exception. Cheapest cost high quality terrarium on the market for this size. Everything about the build quality is great. It’s the perfect starter terrarium for most small geckos and other critters. I really like the integrated lid latching system. Overall, it looks great and is of high quality. I use this for up to 15gram crested geckos.

Da muss man also nichts bohren oder modifizieren.
