Postmenopausal woman. I was waking at 3 am and couldn’t go back to sleep even though I was careful to follow sleep hygiene recommendations. Heard that sunlight in eyes within one hour of waking may help. I was doubtful. Summer, I could be outdoors for 10-15 minutes upon wakening. Bought this light to use in fall & winter. Works great! Able to go back to sleep at 3 am now majority of nights. I’m a believer!! Easy to set up, turn on, adjust brightness and easily sets on any counter. I set the timer for 30 minutes. Grateful that I could buy this on Amazon!

Great light for good health and mood

Used when I was waking up for work at 4am as a way to trick myself into thinking I was getting natural sunlight. Actually seemed to help with alertness! Imagine this could help with winter months and anyone living in a state with less days of sun. Very bright and multi toned settings. I prefer the warmer toned setting as it seems less artificial.

I like this light a lot. Better than the previous one I had. This one is larger, and much more effective because of that. I feel it more. The stand is no good though. It is flimsy and won't stay attached. I just hold the light. It's heavier at this size, but worth it.

After using the light for a couple of weeks, the effects become pretty noticeable. It helped improve my mood during the low light days and really made me feel more awake and alert. This is great for early mornings or afternoons when I'm starting to crash. It's very bright, so you don't want to have it pointed directly at you. I usually just keep it angled about halfway across the table from me while I work on my laptop. It's very thin and lightweight, perfect for travel or moving to other locations in the house. It has a plastic bracket attached to the back that easily slides up and off. When removed, it can be attached at the bottom to serve as a stand. It's very firm, and won't fall over or unhook easily. It has a power button on top, and three touch-sensitive buttons along the bottom. Light Mode - Change the light from warm white, mid white, and day white Timer - Just tap the button to automatically set it to turn off after an hour, or hold the button to customize the timer in five minute increments. A light ring around the button depletes counter-clockwise and indicates how much time is left. Brightness - Tap the button to cycle through four brightness levels: "bright", "really bright", "whoa", and "staring at the sun". The power cord is about five feet long and attaches with a USB-C port. I wouldn't recommend using the cord to charge other devices, since the lamp requires more power than a typical device. The lamp stays cool and doesn't get hot even after hour long usage. Overall, it works great and I highly recommend it.

I've been using a SAD light for most dark seasons for the past decade+. This year, I treated myself to an upgraded verilux HappyLight. The difference between my original verilux HL and this new one is...wait for it...like night and day (HAHAHAHA!!!!!) My old verilux is a monster. It's approx 10" x 14" and 2" deep, with a fluorescent tube in it and no light frequency or light intensity adjustment. It was quite spendy, too (~$100, also on Amazon). However, it was also the least affordable option that would put out a sufficient intensity of light to be therapeutic. So, it worked great from a therapeutic perspective, but was also big and clunky. Fast forward to 2023 and post-space Bezos. This new verilux addresses all of the old light's shortcomings and then some. First, it's much smaller and sleeker than the old light, about the same dimensions as a large tablet - I think it's got an LED light inside - while still pumping out therapeutic amounts of light. This makes it much, much easier to set up and put away each morning. I also appreciate the fact that the frequency and intensity of the light can be adjusted. With the old light, I always spent the first week or so of the dark season heeling like my retinas and brain were getting a little toasted. I used to think that that was just part of getting used to the light again. With this new one, I was able to start with a lower intensity for the first few days and gradually build up to full strength brightness. I started with the whitest light freq with no problems, but could see how starting with a less-white freq would also help with dialing the treatment in gradually over a few days. My one - SUPER MINOR - critique is with the timer. I do love the fact that it has a timer. However, I think the timer settings are limited: No timer, 5 min, 10 min, 15 min, 60 min. I would like the product even more if there were more increments between 15 min and 60 min. Also, this new light was much less cheaper (~$65, also on Amazon) than the original one.

I am beginning to notice an improvement in my energy levels and mood since using this light daily. One of the things that sets the Happy Light Luxe apart from other light therapy devices is its ability to set the color temperature. The Happy Light Luxe allows me to select the specific color temperature (warm, natural and cool) and intensity (five different levels) that is most beneficial for my needs at any given time. Another standout feature of the Happy Light Luxe is its built-in timer, which allows me to set the duration of my light therapy sessions. This is particularly useful for people like me who may have trouble remembering to turn the light off after a set period of time, or bailing too early on the session. The timer ensures that I receive the optimal amount of light therapy without overdoing it. Overall, I am extremely happy with my purchase of the Veriluxe Happy Light Luxe. It has made a noticeable difference in my energy levels and mood, and I appreciate the convenience and customization options it offers. I would highly recommend this light therapy device to anyone who is looking to improve their mental health and well-being.

With all the possible adjustments on this device, there are a lot of combinations available - three light “colors”, several brightness options, and a timer that can be at 5 minute intervals from 5 minutes to 60 minutes. This makes this lamp very flexible. I started with one of the lower brightness settings and moved up one level recently. The instructions that came with it are very clear and useful. I learned that with my previous therapy lamp I had probably had it too far from my face, and at too much of an angle to get the best results. Used as directed, this one seems to be doing a good job to keep SAD at bay.

Excellent product! High output and great format. Controls are intuitive and very easy to use. Good blend of functionality and practicality. Have an older LED type SAD lamp and the difference is profound. Highly recommend.

Ich habe die Tageslichtlampe bestellt. Der dazugehrige Stecker ist einer Typ A, also für USA etc. Für D braucht es einen Adapter. Das hat mit der Qualität des Geräts nichts zu tun, ist aber ärgerlich, da im Angebot nicht darauf hingewiesen wird.

Should have read the reviews before ordering. Comes as 110V and requires an adapter to work in the UK. IMO this should be supplied or declared and not discovered when you have already purchased the product.
