Kuject 530PCS Heat Shrink Ring Terminals 1/4", Copper Heat Shrink Wire Connectors, Electrical Wire Terminals kit for Automotive Marine Boat Truck- Blue 16-14 AWG: desertcart.com: Industrial & Scientific Review: Saves a lot of time from soldering! - I saw theses on a Facebook ad. I didnโt think they were a real thing. I am an electrician by trade and love to projects at home. I am current working on RGB Christmas lights and was soldering and heat shrinking the wires together until I got these! They are so easy to use and work extremely well. I will be ordering a lot more of them in the future. The heat shrink that is on the kit is nice also because it is all ready in small lengths. Review: Good Selection - Solder Seal Wire Connectors - Handy Case - This turned out to be a nice little assortment of Heat Shrink Tubing and Solder Seal Wire Connectors. The 8 different sizes of Heat Shrink Tubing and 4 sizes of Solder Seal Wire Connectors will definitely come in handy for me with all the crazy projects that I undertake. The Heat Shrink Tubing is pre-cut to usable lengths and will safe me time during repairs and builds. But what I really like is the and Solder Seal Wire Connectors which are fairly new to the market. These connectors are made with clear Heat Shrink Tubing and have a band of solder in the middle and a sealing ring on each end. To use the Solder Seal Wire Connectors you just pick the appropriate size connector, insert the wires to be connected, and then heat the connector to roughly 280 degrees Fahrenheit for a few seconds. The heat melts the solder to provide a good connection and also causes the Heat Shrink Tubing and Sealing Rings to shrink, encapsulating the solder joint providing protection from moisture and oxygen; the enemies of any electrical connection. Note: If you don't already own one buy yourself a nice Heat Gun that has the ability to stand on end. Besides a million other uses, it makes working with Shrink Tubing and Solder Seal Wire Connectors much nicer. I also like the little plastic storage case these came in. It has removable dividers and two real hinges that shouldn't break like the flex hinges on similar plastic cases and has am inventory sheet showing the different Tubing and Connectors as well as their sizes.

Good Selection - Solder Seal Wire Connectors - Handy Case
This turned out to be a nice little assortment of Heat Shrink Tubing and Solder Seal Wire Connectors. Good product
Good product. Works as described. I would recommend using a heat gun to shrink them.

Finally an easy and safe way to splice wires for the novice
I was installing led tape lights for my kitchen and had to cue the tape to get past some obstacles and then needed to rejoin the tape. Everything else was more than I wanted to do with soldering and such. This is the perfect solution to splicing wires. You strip the ends of the wires to be spliced, put the ends into the tube and then run the hair dryer to heat up and activate the bead of solder inside the tube and shrink the plastic ends to form a splice that will not fall apart the second you release the joint. Plus, the tubes have a water proof adhesive inside them so you can use them outside if needed. This is one of those products that is a game changer for me.

Quality product.
This was very easy to use and sofas I really like it. It seems to work well and it appears to be durable.

Worked as advertised for electrical splicing
Worked as advertised optimum need a heat gun but can use a propane torch if careful. Very convenient versus solder and shrink wrap/electrical tape.

Connector with lead
No instructions on how much heat or whatever things to do to achieve good connections. I can't use connector with that welds. Other than that are oj.7

18/22 gage connectors problems
The 18 to 22 gage, especially the 18 gage solder connectors if using, apparently, older wire with a thicker outer covering will not allow you to slide the exposed wire into the soldering ring. A lot of the new wire has a cheap thinner outer covering. I did notice that one end of the connectors looks as if the outer opening is a littler larger than the other end, but that just may be a manufacturing error. Also the heat shrink are about a 1/4 to a 1/2 inch too short. Good ideas but poor quality control.
