That’s is NOT what happened. I expected for the price I paid that this dress would be a super thin fabric with poor seams and an odd or off color. NOPE!! I am sooo happy to say it’s stunning! I bought this in the royal purple to wear as my wedding gown and it is exactly as pictured. The material is the same as or better than many of the dresses I tried on in store. This gown has a built in bra with ACTUAL CUPS any lady with bigger ladies knows how fantastic that is,to avoid the smooshed in look. The seams are beautifully finished. I order based on what was closest to my measurements. I wear in regular clothing a 16-18 and the gown I was trying on a 20..I ordered a 22 in this because I wanted to be safe but it was not necessary, but easier to take it in than add to it! It is rather ling, and I am going barefoot at my tall 5’5 lol so for it to be hemmed it will cut into the embroidery around the bottom. All in all I am so glad I bought this. I did have some concerns that the dress would be cheaply made at this price compared to the 1200 price tag of my other dress. However, the dress is amazing, and I am more than happy with it. I included pictures so you can see. The color is royal blue. I bought a jacket to wear to hide all of my tattoos. My original dress from Alfred Angelo would have had a navy blue color and after seeing the royal blue - the navy would have been too dark for this dress.
