I wanted a nicer bag than my backpack to carry my laptop, personal supplies, water bottle and small umbrella. It holds all of my things, with room to spare. I can put a couple of magazines in place of my laptop, if needed. The zippers are sturdy, work pretty well once I opened and closed them several times, and the handles are strong. The shoulder/cross body strap is adjustable in length and doesn't cut into my shoulder or neck. I like the color a lot and get many compliments on the bag. It was definitely worth the price.
