what is the recommended spacing between each mister?

We space them 3-4' feet on no more than 4, 15' runs on 5/8 line.

What is the spray area of these sprayers. Side ways and upward spray. Im making a clone machine. Trying to figure out how low into the tote.

Surely depends on water pressure. I make sure my box is well sealed. I know that when the timer turns the water on briefly that if I open the cover it’s going to soak me. I also use them outside in the garden and the radius is approximately 20”, maybe 10” high. Your results will vary, just be sure the top is sealed

Would this work in 1/4" pvc pipe?

don't believe so - you might need to get the metal sprayers and tap a tiny hole to screw them in OR hook up a hose fitting on a threaded PVC fitting to hook up 5/8" tubing to 1/4" tube/fittings for a drip system (assuming that's what your plans are)

what is total weight of shipment?

less than a pound I would guess
