Not sure. I used these gloves at work to clean out caustic tanks and never had a problem with leakage. Would most likely work well as long as you rinsed them off after use.

I spend 5 hours a day washing heavy duty pots and pans....are these gloves leak proof (protect me from water)?

Don't ever put in the dryer. That's when they will begin to leak. So try not to get wet inside glove.

Are they Heat Resistant ?

They are heat resistant. But after extended exposure heat will be dispersed throughout the glove causing the inside to become like a sauna. having said that I can dunk my hand and a sponge into 212 degree water without much discomfort.
