I get deep painful cracks in my heels. In addition to properly removing callouses, wearing these heel covers at night with a rich cream underneath really helps to treat the cracks. They are comfortable and last a long time. I used the same ones for maybe a year or more before one began to rip, and with 4 in the pack, I already had a replacement at hand. Note I only wear them in bed, so they may not last so long if you walk in them.

I developed a bone spur in my heel that has majorly impacted my ability to put weight on my foot or walk. I have been using these at work I work in a school where I have to get up and down and move a lot and these have helped relieve some of the pain by reducing the impact to my foot. I tried another insert that was not a wrap around wearable version, and I much rather prefer these as they more easily stay in place. I have big feet. They are Women’s size 10 and wide. These stretch over my feet nicely and have holes to help aerate and prevent sweating. They have a gel-like feel and I’m able to still wear many of my shoes with these on. Some shoes might not fit if they have a tighter fit. While these aren’t bulky, they do make it a bit tricky with socks to squeeze your foot into a shoe without them bunching up off your foot. I’d give 5 stars, but I bought the clear ones and after just a few uses, they’re a dark gray color even with washing with soap and water. They discolored so easily and I even tried to make them clear again by using Dawn dish soap with no difference. Since it’s Winter, I have to wear them with socks, but when it gets warmer or I’m not wearing shoes, I’ll just wear them alone. I don’t know yet how visible they’ll be without socks. It will depend on what type of shoes worn and I prefer canvas slip-on sneakers. Only time will tell how long these will hold up.

Helpful but hard to keep in place with socks or shoes

Even if you don't have an issue with your heels, this is such a treat for your feet! This heel protector provides cushy comfort to your heels and prevents shoe rubbing on back of your foot/heel (top side of heel protector even provides protection from loafer top rubbing... Bonus!

Very comfortable, washable and a great value

This was a deep heel crack and very painful. The silicone really cushions my heel and I was able to walk easily. It is important to put powder or cornstarch in it as it stays in place better. It definitely beats what I was doing, which was putting a thick bandage on my heel. That wasn’t a good idea as it was drying it out more. I am very happy with the results.

Tried to break in some new water shoes on my 5 mile daily beach walk and got the worst blisters on my heels and under my ankles ever! So, I bought these pads and used them over bandaids to protect my blisters wearing cotton socks and sneakers. They worked well until my feet started sweating. The bandaids slipped off and the silicone pads slipped up above my heels. So at the 2.5 mile mark I learned to check them and adjust them accordingly. They definitely helped in healing my blisters with cushioning them but one star off because they do tend to slip up my heels on my 5 mile walk. Nevertheless, I know of no better way to address this problem so I do recommend them, just expect them to slip up over your heel on long walks and especially if your feet sweat.

Good product

I do a lot of long hikes and snowshoeing. Whenever I do over 6 km, my heels would get annoyingly chafed even when I used a ton of anti-chafe cream. These silicone pads saved my heels! I did a 10 km snowshoeing on deep snow a coiple days ago and my feet came out perfectly, no chafing and no blisters! What a bliss! Highly recommend them! I wash them with water and soap and then put a bit of corn starch to keep them fresh.

I’ve never felt anything as excruciating as doc martens but using these make them feel like your heal is resting against fabric, not plastic , leather or wood. I’ll definitely still blister from friction but instead of getting overwhelmed thinking I won’t have a chance to break these in, they make it so I can walk a good amount of time. It’s not raw blisters anymore , it’s just normal blisters As for durability, not sure if it will last long. I’m putting them on in mind to be really careful just in case. They’re thick, but the holes are scaring me when it stretches

I have been unable to wear my Doc Martins due to the Achilles area rubbing. Enter these gen heel protectors! I can now wear my Docs/any boots for the entire day without issue, very happy!
