Blue Diamond ET60 Septic, Pond Linear Diaphragm Air Pump

Works as advertised. If being used for septic air supply get the ET60-A model. It has an alarm/indicator letting you know if the air supply stops (diaphram/s fail). The last one I had lasted 5 years.

I began purchasing BlueDaimond pumps little over 7 years ago. No failures other than diaphragm replacements. I keep 3 in continuous operation. My original review is below. Bought this in early May 2015 and still working in December. Waited several months before writing the review just to make sure it was a quality product. Slightly less noise than the one it replaced and less than 1/3 the price the local septic tank people wanted. I used the controller and warning buzzer from the old unit by fabricating a bracket. Came with multiple hose adapters for ease of installation.

Easy to install, runs 24/7/365 . Hasn't failed in over a year, even in the brutal Texas heat !!

This septic pump was a replacement for my flood-damaged old one. I decided to replace the entire thing rather than buy a kit to repair the old one. But they are so expensive...so I delayed...until I found the ET60. I also worried it wouldn't work with my old control box, but when I plugged it in & hooked up the hose, it purred along & I could hear the air bubbling in the tank.

Easy to hardware and works as directed. Shipping was fast and the pump is powerful and quiet. It replaced a pump on a septic system. I would definitely buy this again if I needed another. This one is more effective that the original one that was installed when the system was new 12 years ago. As a side note, be sure and keep protection out from the fire ants. They love to eat electric wires.

I have a 6'x6' wide x 10' deep rain collection cistern that I decided to turn into a koi pond. The problem is the surface area, Even with my waterfall, was not enough to eliminate the nitrates and ammonia and oxygenate from the bottom. I tried regular aerators for ponds and aquariums, and nothing would push air past 3 ft. I took a chance on this, and boy am I impressed! I have two very large aerating stones at the bottom, and four smaller aerators up in the boggy area I made for my waterfall and frogs. And it seems like there's still plenty of pressure left!!!
