Just received this and it was delivered really quickly. I have set it up using filtered water...about 1.5 litres. I soaked the jellyfish in separate bowl of hot water with a few drops of washing-up liquid first, and then gave them a good rinse with plain water, before putting in the tank. I pushed them down gently and got rid of as many bubbles off them that I could. If they have bubbles on them they won't swim properly. Instructions are on the box and in small leaflet inside. Switched it on and the jellyfish are swimming around perfectly, slowly going up and down and around. I was worried they would whizz round too fast but they go around gently and look natural. The lamp is silent, unlike some I have heard about. The lamp stays on for about 4 hours before automatically switching off. Really pleased with it and it seems to be well made. can't wait till it gets dark to see the full effect of the lights. I have also registered the item with the manufacturer online for peace of mind. Thoroughly recommend. Edit : Had it about a fortnight and can now hear the pump slightly. You would hear it if the room is silent, but not if you have normal background noise. Also for some reason the small jellyfish won't swim any more and just stays at the bottom of the tank. It doesn't look damaged so I don't know the reason why. I'll try and get a replacement. I'm still very pleased with the lamp though. 2nd edit : I contacted seller ( High Light LED ) and they replied straight away. They have now sent me a complete new lamp. Exceptional service. I also asked if I could buy extra jellyfish, but unfortunately they're not sold separately.

Arrived today so far it’s good. I bought it to replace another one which had a noisy motor. It’s a bit crammed with the 2 fish and 2 jellyfish the jellyfish are quite big.

This is a nice product I could not get the Bluetooth on it to work for the music. However not what I wanted it for I used deionised water from the petrol garage and it works a treat. It does not look like real jellyfish though- you can tell they are plastic. they also move quite fast and the jelly fish doesn’t go up and down like a jellyfish they just get thrown around by the water so not very natural. However the colours are really nice I would say they may be better options out there

I brought this for my sons 6th birthday as he wanted a fish tank, easy to esemble just fill it with water, pop lid on & plug in! Power on with on/off button and press the button to the right for beautiful colours! The jellyfish look like they are dancing it's so soothing & therapeutic to watch, we all love it! However with the lid being easily available to take off & on I do have concerns he will be messing about with it haha. 5 stars & worth every penny

Poor . For an autistic child adding water in near electrics is not a good idea.

Extremely easy to set up! Remember & pop 2/3 drips of washing up liquid in water before you add fish & Octopi. The product is tested in factory so some water marks inside but they do not show when filled. It’s almost silent when in use too so that’s a bonus, I hate buzzing in the background. It’s 100% value for money so much so I’m ordering another one for my kitchen. It’s also a lot stronger than I expected. Please remember this is NOT A TOY! Water & electricity don’t mix ⚡️.

Purchased for 6 year old. After setting it up and waiting 2 days for it to stabilise, pressed the button to start it and nothing happened, so disappointed. Left it plugged in thinking maybe it needed to charge but after 1 day realised it was broken. So decided to return it. We did order a second one which fortunately worked and it looked beautiful. It is quiet, looks lovely lit up and lovely to watch. Just hoping that it lasts as it is not a cheap item

Fab. Small but decent. We used cooled, boiled water. The fish made it too cramped so just kept the jellyfish in. We washed the jellyfish using washing up liquid then rinsed before putting them in the tank and prodding them a few times with the provided prodder, to remove any air bubbles. A month in and it's still working good.

I loved this jellyfish lamp. It's much more than just a night light: moving jellyfish create a very relaxing atmosphere and color changes are beautiful. The Bluetooth speaker connects easily and the sound is clear, perfect for listening to music or relaxing before bedtime. It has become a beautiful decoration for the room and is also an excellent gift for children and adults. It exceeded my expectations and I totally recommend it

Two of my aunts bought this and every time we would visit them, it would be mesmerizing! Since we don’t have a lot of luck keeping fish alive in our preschool classroom, sadly, this is a great addition that intrigues our sweet students and captivates them when they are in the classroom every day. I love the timer aspect of the remote too! I cannot figure out how to get the Bluetooth music to play even when I am off of the website on my phone or to not stop when I get a text message. So I just don’t use that feature. The first few days the water was cloudy after adding the dish soap. But, be patient, it soon clears up and is a beautiful display of color! I have students who like to look at it as they settle down for rest time:)

I purchased because I had a similar one that stopped working. This one the fan/motor is super quiet and I love that it has white noise features as well as Bluetooth for music! Oh and the remote control is also great! My students love this as well as other staff in the building.
