These are an absolute yes for me. I'm 5 foot 6 and weigh about 180 pounds and these shorts are my go-to for the summer. I wear them anytime I'm at the pool, which is about 3-4 days a week during the summer months. I pair them with a cute bathing suit halter top or even a bandeau top. Honestly, they go great with everything. I bought them in a size large and they fit great. They wash great, too. I haven't seen any fading or issues with the material. They don't feel like they're going to fall off after being in the water either. I can't recommend these enough. They're fantastic and super flattering.

I am used to needing to order up a size so that shorts will fit my thighs accordingly. I was pleasantly surprised that these fit great in my normal size (L) and were even a little loose around my thighs (the way shorts typically would be at the leg hole). I would say that these fit true to size, order down a size if you want them to be fully snug around your thighs. I personally am a fan of the wiggle room. The are super high-waisted and went over my belly button and then some. Tummy control is minor. They definitely fall somewhere between regular short-short length/style and boyshorts so they have good butt coverage. Seem to be a good quality and are fully lined. For reference, I ordered the curved arc style in black. I am 5'5 and 165lbs, typically a large in bottoms and 10-12 in jeans.

The product itself is great. It was comfortable when I tried it on. I think it fits well and the stretch helps so it doesn’t feel tight to anything. The problem is that it came with a torn bag. The bag was torn on the side so obviously this item was a return and was sent to me without the bag being replaced.

I’ve bought and returned more swim shorts than I can count. I spend a ton of time in the pool in the summer and hate one piece bathing suits because they’re hard to get on and off to pee but I’m 55 and overweight so a traditional two piece is a no go. Whenever I find a set where I like the top, the bottoms are low rise, super short and too small. As a result I have a big collection of tops and have been in search of bottoms. These are high enough waisted that they come to my belly button. I like that they’re not baggy “trunks” which were all I was previously able to find with a high waist. They’re not too long but I don’t feel like I’m half naked if I walk to the mail box. I did have to return the XL (I usually wear that size, between a 14 and 16) and order the XXL and they’re perfect. I’m ordering a second pair.

I normally wear a medium but I ordered a small based on the size chart and reviews. They fit fine and are cute. I wore these on a week long serious snorkel vacation. We were on the boat by 8:30 am and returned at around 4pm every day. These bottoms have no gusset in the crotch and had a tendency to ride up in there making them very uncomfortable. But they were not too tight, just the design. I stopped wearing them and used my underwear instead. They might be fine for lounging around a pool for a short period of time.

I like to use shorts over my swimming suit to cover my butt. These are perfect because now I have a swimming suit that does just that. They are high wasted, but not tight, so they give a flattering look. Able to show off tummy comfortably while wearing these, rather than a bikini (for me). I am 5'5", 130 lbs, size 6 (barely - bit butt). I got a Medium and they are perfect. Not super comfy, but not bad at all, and more comfortable than other bottoms.

I’m 5-1 1/4 “, 121 lbs, 33” waist. I’m 65 yrs old. I ordered a small. These are snug but not tight. They are very attractive with an l.l.bean tankini top I just purchased. I mentioned my age only because I never thought I would find “shorts” this short,as an attractive style for me. They “cover” me up well with no spillage, which I had in a “regular” bathing suit. Glad I took the chance and bought these. Such a comfortable combo to wear in the water. I’m all in for tankinis!

Ok swim short. The lining is a different color than the outside and the legs like to roll up to expose that. Not a biggie, could forgive it. Especially since I got the navy blue and its not much of a contrast! What I really dislike, and has me in search of new swim shorts, is the seam that runs up the middle thru the crotch. Since your not wearing another layer underneath and the lining isn't thick enough, it creates some serious camel toe. Not flattering unless you're constantly pulling them down or in the water where no one can see! Fair warning.
