I really liked this cup and the two straws that come with it. This product is durable and well made. It can be used for hot or cold drinks. It can also be used as a wine glass. The straws do their job of keeping the tea leave out of the tea you sip. Therefore, you don’t have to strain out the tea leaves.

Take it from a long-time yerba mate fiend: this is a truly wonderful updated gourd product: well designed, pleasing to the hand and the eye, good in quality, very practical, well-packaged and totally worth the price. I should have gotten more of them!

Works fine, but defiant the wrong shape and size for mate. Better as a coffee cup. The straight straw is just about useless. The slits clog super easy and you can't drink from it.

Bueno, this is perhaps the best yerba mate cup that I own. I have about 20 versions...gourds, ceramic, wood, etc. This one is by far the most easy to use and to clean. Special features: -2x the size of most yerba mate cups. -Plastic and metal: Easy to clean, not breakable, won't decay, won't mold -The lid keeps the mate warm (or cold...) and makes it so nothing gets in while you are drinking -Comes with a bombilla cleaner (yay) and an extra bombilla that doesn't fit in the cup, but will work wonderfully with my many other cups that don't have the lid. -Its beautiful. Easy to hold. -1 warning, don't overfill cup or the water and yerba will gush out. I got a little too enthusiastic the first time I used it and made a big mess. Could burn you if your fingers are right there and you overfilled it. This is easily my favorite and most functional cup. I broke my favorite yerba mate cup about a year ago... dropped it. I almost got on a plane to Argentina to go get another one (someday I will). Now my decorative and sentimental mate cups will be safe... and I have one that I can use to chug mate while studying and at work. Im tan pero tan feliz! My first Yerba Mate kit. I like the size and shape. It cleans easily I did replace the bombilla. It did not filter out the particulate matter as well as the more oval shaped one I bought Overall, I’m very happy with it.

I love this yerba mate cup. I got the 12oz stainless steel one. It looks great, feels great (light but sturdy), and it holds the perfect amount of mate. I was second guessing getting the 12oz, thinking it was going to be too big, but it is just the right size. This cup keeps your mate hot for a long time. I have to add a splash of cold water just so I can drink it in a reasonable period of time (that’s a good thing). I don’t know anything about the outer coating peeling off (as reported by some others) because there is no outer coating on the silver stainless steel cup that I purchased. I’ve had several mate cups/gourds in the past but I will never go back to using them after buying this cup. I’m not sure how the lid will hold up, hopefully it will because it really helps to keep the mate hot. I will report back if there are any issues.

La tazza in acciaio inox a doppia parete è robusta, mantiene bene la temperatura e, rispetto alla classica calabaza, è molto più semplice da pulire e non richiede manutenzione particolare. Le due bombillas fanno il loro lavoro e sono facili da lavare grazie alla spazzolina inclusa. Il kit è completo e dà subito la possibilità di iniziare senza acquistare altro. Se si cerca l’esperienza tradizionale al 100%, una calabaza naturale resta imbattibile. Tuttavia, per l’uso quotidiano, in ufficio o in viaggio, questo set è decisamente più pratico e resistente. Rapporto qualità/prezzo molto buono. Lo consiglio sia a chi vuole avvicinarsi al mondo del mate sia a chi desidera un’alternativa moderna e funzionale al mate tradizionale.

Amazing product!

The lid is stable and secure, and the drink stays hot. If anything, be careful, even an hour later, it does not seemed to have cooled down much.
