6 Inch Self-Watering + Aerating + High Drain Indoor & Outdoor UV Resistant Round Planter Pot Prevent Mold, Root Rot, Soil Fungus in House Plants (6 Inch / 1.6 Quart, New White w/Clear Reservoir Dish)

(I've added pictures for reference of how big 6 inches is compared to my hand etc)I ordered the White/Translucent 6" plastic pot for a carnivirous plant (drosera spathulata). I figured since the feet on the white part of the pot are in the water, it could help maintain the "bogginess" I need to keep the little guy alive.× The pot is sturdy, and looks great× So far no issues, the water spout is detachable but helpful for me anyways.× Maybe adding cotton string through the feet so water can travel through the soild would have been a simpler thing to do but... Oh well lol(In the pics included the soil is supposed to be very heavy with water, so it looks like he is drowning but trust me he is living his best life right now and he'll grow so he needs the room ahah)

The "2 weeks" rating must be for the largest versions. I got the 6" version, and the reservoir is only good for 2 or 3 days at around 47% RH at 68F in my house, and that's when I water it from the top so the soil is already saturated. The reservoir should definitely be deeper on the 6" version. That said, it's just enough time to leave for a weekend and not have to worry about my plants, so I'm happy with the purchase and am going to try one of the larger ones next.

I needed a new Africian violet pot and this works perfectly since you have water them from the bottom. Could not find them in walmart in spring/ summer time. But some items are hard to find now. Works perfectly. Highly recommended it.

It's a bit smaller than I expected so maybe I should have measured it better. But I like the self watering and the spout it has to make it easier to fill up the bottom, especially with the clear section. Hopefully my plant won't get root rot again now!

I have been looking for a self watering pot for a while now. I really like that you can get this with a clear bottom, makes it EASY to see how much water is actually in the reservoir. The water spout thingy is wide and not flush with pot. Makes watering a breeze.

I have plants by basement door because they get a lot of sunlight through the glass. The problem is I forget to water those if I don't go down there often enough. This system allows me some days off and helps tremendously. I purchased two and both of these plants are doing much better.

I ordered this in hopes of successfully caring for a fern. So far I am impressed, it looks nicer than I was expecting and there is plenty of drainage and air circulation to keep the soil from staying soggy. I plan to update in a few months when I know how it’s working for my maidenhair fern.

This is a very small pot good for a shelf or small yard table. It is a little bigger than a 24 ounce can. Since i needed it for a small table in the yard it is the perfect size!
