The new design are safer.
The Weize batteries fit our companion mobility scooter and my husband is back to having freedom outside again. We bought 2 and they fit. They changed the design of the posts, but they work either way. The new ones the posts are fit into the battery making them safer from grounding out.

Weize batteries last longer than other brands. I have 3 power wheelchairs in 3 different locations and have tried many different brands of replacement batteries.
