Review: Good value for money - Easy to set up and it works. I could only get the water about three quarters up the tube by using my thumb only. I had to tap it several times with the palm of my hand to get the water flowing, but maybe I don't have a very strong thumb. I found it best to clamp the outlet hose to the rim of the bucket, (using the supplied clamp), as close to the end of the hose as you can. I didn't find the flow adjuster was needed as the water doesn't come out very fast, although fast enough. It isn't easy to connect the extension tube, if you need it, because it is a very tight fit. I tried it and the extension tube fell off. But all in all, I am pleased with the siphon and would recommend.

A: Yes it would if you take filter out, about 5-7mm in size

**Q: How strong is the suction? Does it get rid of all dirt and debris? I have a small tank with a sand bottom, my current vacuum leaves a lot behind**
A: Hello I have got a grit bottom in my 50 litre tank and it’s strong enough for that but I found that if you have the pipe with no end attached to it it will clean right to the bottom of the tank

Easy to set up and it works. I could only get the water about three quarters up the tube by using my thumb only. I had to tap it several times with the palm of my hand to get the water flowing, but maybe I don't have a very strong thumb. I found it best to clamp the outlet hose to the rim of the bucket, (using the supplied clamp), as close to the end of the hose as you can. I didn't find the flow adjuster was needed as the water doesn't come out very fast, although fast enough. It isn't easy to connect the extension tube, if you need it, because it is a very tight fit. Like the ease of priming, filter stops debris blocking the tube and simple thing but the bucket clip works well with a decent length of hose. Overall a simple cheap functional item
