Pleasantly surprised and that is saying a lot
So I bought this x rocker because my old gaming chair collapsed while I was in it (it was old lol). I wanted to try it out and see if it was worth buying the top of the line pro+ series I believe is what it’s called it’s like 400$ more than the SE Pro. I ordered a used model the cheapest one I could find I think with tax and prime delivery it was $106.?? all in. It was a used model that had and acceptable rating i was assured that it would work but it would have huge cosmetic damage and would probably come in a hefty bag, possibly missing parts. Well it arrived today and it’s flawless everything was included, in its original packaging. A breeze to put together one page instructions and a manual for the audio system which btw is really impressive no static when used with the Bluetooth transmitter. When plugged in with the aux cord from the bottom of the controller the sound quality is crisp and distortion free. The subwoofer under the seat is also very good, not gonna bump like a Bose system but for 100$ you can’t go wrong with this thing. I can’t speak for any other used merchandise from Amazon this is the first time I ever bought a used product. However if this is the trend I just may start saving some money with used products. I don’t think this X Rocker was ever used or even taken out of the box so I’m definitely pleasantly surprised… and I think I’m just gonna keep this one until I can’t ignore the sign’s anymore that I need to replace it with a new model.

Great price for a nice chair
I bought this Ace Bayou X Rocker chair used, through Amazon. The description stated minor cosmetic wear on the back and bottom of chair but after receiving the chair I only see a small crack on the subwoofer grill. Not a big problem for a $80 discount from buying the chair new. The issue that I had was that I received the chair without the hardware (e.g., bolts, washers, etc) needed to put it together. I contacted Amazon about that issue, and they couldn't be more helpful. They followed up with me, to ensure that I was getting responses from ACE. ACE actually ended up sending me the hardware in the mail (after I went to the local hardware store and bought a few bolts myself). Amazon actually credited me the cost of the bolts that I ended up buying. While I wasn't happy that I received the chair without the hardware, I am happy with the subsequent service provided by Amazon's customer service, as well as Ace's. The chair is comfortable and the speakers sound decent. Great deal.

Definitely worth it. Great speakers and bass.
I am extremely pleased with this purchase. It took me about 20 maybe 30 minutes to put together with no additional tools required. I had everything that I needed. The instructions were extremely easy to follow, one page with one side in fact. Also did it alone without any hassle. Now on to the products performance itself. I just wanted to make sure everything worked so I tried the wireless adapter. The left speaker was not working and I had to jiggle the wire a bit. Also my TV's headphone jack was quite high and it was just dangling there and one of the speakers kept turning off so it was not ideal for my specific TV plus it takes two AAA batteries. Going to the wire drought, it is an absolutely amazing experience and I first started up Crazy Taxi on Dreamcast and fell in love with it all over again. Felt like I was in the arcade. I went out and got a 10-foot 3.5 mm auxiliary Jack and put it in my retro gaming room so now I have about 10 systems I can easily hook up to the chair. Now for the comfort portion and the reason why it got four stars instead of five. First off the armrest I wish came with a type of sleeve that you can easily remove but I would definitely keep on because they are hard and I end up just keeping them lifted up. When sitting all the way back my lower back doesn't have much lumbar support but it was easily fixed with a folded towel but I just wish I didn't have to do that and every time I sit in the chair I'm reminded of it. Nothing is perfect but I love my purchase and it was a Father's Day gift that I'm very thankful for. Just know that it's not going to be the most comfortable chair in the world. But it's awesome not going to be the most uncomfortable chair either. Pretty darn comfortable, just nothing to write home about.

Good gaming chair
First the bad. The speakers were reversed left/right which makes playing action game impossible... like you hear enemy coming from the left but he is actually on your right. This was easy to fix on RCA connection, but not on MP3 or wireless. I had to open up the amplifier control and reversed the speaker wires. I hope mine was the only one the factory screwed up like this because the chair is too big to repack and return. The chair is easy to assemble in about 10 minutes. They provide a hex wrench to screw the arm rests. They provide bunch of connectors for 3.5mm and RCA plugs and jacks. The wireless transmitter uses two AAA batteries or AC adapter, neither of which are provided. It seems crazy that it does not use a standard USB power instead. Other than the reversed speaker which I think is probably a one-time defect, this gaming chair works well for the purpose. Seems overpriced, though. Consider the floor rocker version if pedestal is not needed, or install one yourself. The 2 head speakers are like tweeters and only has mid-high frequency. The woofer at the bottom does a good job, but there are no mid-frequency speakers, so the sound is only good for gaming and not for music. I see that some people had trouble getting the sound to work. It seems pretty obvious but the radio channel band has to match between the chair and the transmitter. If using the MP3 or RCA connection, the radio switch must be in the OFF position to activate those inputs. The wireless is a good feature, but still having to a power wire to the chair is problem because it gets caught when turning or moving the chair. I worked around it by mounting a 9 volt rechargeable power pack under the chair. They really should offer that option with the chair. I did not like the fixed pedestal, so I used a pneumatic lift from an old office chair which was easy to install. In retrospect, I should have purchased the floor rocker version instead and saved $50 over this pedestal version since I was replacing the bottom portion anyway. The chair is comfortable, but the bolster area gets sweaty. I wish that area was fabric mesh instead of leather. The arm rest is useful and it can be raised to get it out of the way when not needed. I wish it had a provision to rest a keyboard. Update: The battery pack I used is: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01337QXMA/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title Mounting holder can be found at Thingiverse I am finding the chair to be uncomfortable after long use and my back is starting to hurt. Not for all-day game play.

Heavy, but comfy, cool, and worth it!
Really good, speakers are super loud and great. No need to hook it up to the actual console. You just use an aux, that it comes with, to hook it from the controller to the chair. If you don't want to do that, it comes with a battery (triple A) powered transmitter. All in all, very good and easy to work with. I do warn, though, it's very heavy. We live up stairs and we ended up having to pick it up from the post office, because they couldn't deliver it to the door.

Decent Chair, Lousy Manufacturer Support
The power supply failed after about 3 uses. I opened a support ticket on the manufacturer's website. After a week the only response I've received is the automated response when the ticket was opened. (And yes, I've also monitored my spam folder just in case.) In frustration I went ahead and bought a new power supply (better than than the one that came with the chair) and now my son can use the chair again. I'm giving 2 stars due to very lackluster customer support. Although the chair is well built, comfortable for kids and adults I can't really recommend it because if you have a problem that you can't fix yourself I don't believe you'll receive much help (if any) from the manufacturer. I did have one recessed nut for one of the armrests that did not want to cooperate with a bolt. After fiddling with it I did manage to get it to accept a bolt. The chair is easily assembled, but does require two people to move the box due to bulky size and weight. If the manufacturer had responded, this chair would have easily been 4 stars, probably 5. I'm taking off 3 stars for very poor manufacturer support. Update 12/31/2018: still have not heard from the manufacturer even after I responded back to the automated support ticket in hopes of getting some type of response. Dropping my review to a one star since the manufacturer won’t respond here or through their own web site. At this point I can not recommend the chair due to the lousy manufacturer support. Update 01/14/2019: still nothing from the manufacturer. If you have a problem you are totally on your own. And to be clear - I used their website and their support system. If possible I’d downgrade to zero stars. Buy at your own risk.

Comfortable Gaming Chair, even if you're over 6' Tall
I'm 6'2", 210 lbs and this chair is surprisingly comfortable for extended game sessions on the PS4 (Destiny). Even several hours into a gaming bender, my back, shoulders and legs feel fine. This chair assembles like a swiveling office chair. The instructions offer enough guidance to make the assembly as pain free as putting together furniture can be. (mildly painful, but not difficult) Once assembled, this chair operates like an office chair without wheels, but it is several inches lower. This will only be an issue if your TV is mounted high on a wall. I am using my chair with the BenQ RL2755HM Official Gaming LED-Lit Monitor mounted on the Mount-It! Height Adjustable Articulating Single Arm Desk Mount. The monitor sits about 28 inches from the floor, and it's the perfect viewing height. Pros: 1. Easy to assemble. 2. Comfortable, even for a person that is 6' 2" tall 3. Sturdy 4. The chair rocks backward a few degrees for a slightly reclined sitting position. Cons: 1. Might be a little low for some people's gaming set up. The seat height is 15 inches from the floor. I would highly recommend this gaming chair.
