This food processor blends smoothly

Great purchase. Works well, does a good job.

For around the £50 mark this is a fantastic bit of kit, it is used multiple times daily for almost a year and is still cracking on. It’s not the most attractive appliance if that is a concern and it makes a racket like it’s going to burn out or break down but so far so good. When using the larger jug we only fill it half full at most as it would probably struggle with any more. It comes with several blades (metal, plastic, ricer/grater) all seem to be okay but the metal blade does 99% of what we need. It has a lockable lid so the blade won’t start if the lid is not engaged correctly. Small jug has a fixed blade and is great for smoothies and soups. No locking lid on this jug. Would buy another if this one broke.

I was worried I needed 1000 + w for what I use this food processor for but 800 is just enough. What a great product. Very powerful and multi use. Put down your chopping board and use this for everything. Perfect weight, speed and blade is very sharp. Two options of blades. Easy to clean. A bit loud but for the price and speed in which in chops it's totally worth it.

A very NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE and complete waste of money and time. I do not recommend this product. Complete not fit pieces of different kinds of parts of which does not make any headway and doesn’t do anything towards your blending or juicing. It just seems like this was made by a child. I have never bought a thing like this before. This has been in the cupboard since I bought it, just brought it out this weekend to make some juice and blend some stuffs only for us to realize that this isn’t fit for ANY PURPOSE. Trust me you will be of the same opinion with me if you buy this! I’m not a reviewer but on this one, I must let everyone know.

This is a fantastic kit, you can do a lot of things with this blender its great for smoothies, and excellent at chopping vegetables. You can even slice cheese with the cheese slicer attachment. Easy to set up and clean.

Within 15 mins of receiving this device, I had washed verything and was ready to go. I tried making a smoothy using frozen fruit. I think they mis-spelt the Blender I think they meant to write BENDER? Anyway the blender was absolutely the least effective blender I have ever had the misfortune to use.. With respect to the food processor, the slicer needs to be re evaluated by Russel Hobbs, I got varied thicknesses cutting carrots and the last part danced about in the feed tube. If the pusher had been designed to either hold the food or in two halfs, then the carrot would be supported in the feed resulting in uniformly cut vegetable. The processor chopping blade is impressive and does a very effective job, it's easy to assemble. It was necessary to stop and with a spatula remove food from the side of the bowl but this is no different to other food processors and less necessary than others I've used. A silicone spatula is essential with this machine yet they didn't provide even a cheap one. I have yet to use the dough hook or the emulsifier but judging solely on the speeds and performance of the chopper blade, I can't imagine there will be any real concerns. The grated blade works well enough, but there is no fine grater for things like parmesan. They claim this machine's bowl and jug etc are dishwasher safe, what they deliberately do NOT said is that they plastics will be seriously affected by any dishwasher, and frankly they will not look nice on display so if you are storing your machine on the counter, DON'T PUT THEM IN THE DISHWASHER. Considering the price, I am not surprised some of the functions are a let down but the 'meat and potatoes' of the machine, the processor, works well enough for the money. This machine is not upto the usual standard that I expect from Russel Hobbs.
