Review: Actives users in dry climates this one is for you! - I am someone who regularly uses retinol, various actives, and also happens to live in very very dry colorado. Recently my skin was flaking, burning, red, and splotchy. I haven’t had this happen before but I couldn’t stand it, I switched from a very popular drugstore brand daily lotion that I have used since I was a teenager to this. Let me tell you, it is a dry winter in colorado, add in being indoors, and tretnoin and my skin was dying for moisture. I felt like no amount of lotion on my face was helping. The moment I opened this and put it on my skin it was as if my skin finally for once felt like it was moisturized. One pump of this is the equivalent to 2-4 of the other lotion i had, which Id also have to keep reapplying through the day. I put this on in the morning and at noon I can still feel the moisture on my skin. It’s extremely moisturizing and also is light and doesn’t feel gross, sticky, or overly wet. My skin has gone from blotchy, flaky, and irritated to completely moisturized and dewy, yes even in a cold climate that is dry! It has been less than a week with this and the results are INCREDIBLE. No more flakes, no more redness, no more feeling like I can’t get enough lotion. Worth every penny.
