highly adjustable, easily serviced, quieter than the equalizer, better than chain mouint torsion, excellent sway control.

This is an excellent hitch assembly. Be sure to have a socket the correct size for the ball before hand, (or a box end wrench), to tighten the nut, not enough room for much else. A concrete pad or some very flat area that the tow vehicle and trailer can be parked on to do the height adjustments would be best thought out before you receive the hitch. The adjusting can be a little tedious, but worth the time for safety, so give yourself enough time too. The only real problem I had was once all was assembled the safety chains would not reach the loops on the tow vehicle due to the extra length of the hitch compared to the original ball/hitch, so I had to add a few new links to them. You'll be glad you took the time to do a good job as soon as you get on a four lane highway with tractor trailers on both sides of you at 75 miles an hour. Happy trailering!

Hard to install at home but works great!

Curt is a well known WDH the 4 point action is just a extra safety thing distribution of weight and anti sway all rolled into one unit .

When it arrived, the box was taped up all around to repair damage to it. Pieces were missing along with any intructions.

This thing is heavy duty love it. The combo weight distribution and sway bar tech works great

I bought the 4p weight distribution hitch but unfortunately never bothered opening the box until I met the seller to buy a camper (the box was really heavy so I didn't want to take all straps and stuff off and risk the contents falling out when trying to load it into the truck). When we went to put the hitch together after buying a camper there was a pin missing that made it so I couldnt use the sway bars. I had a long drive home and the camper was just at the threshold of what my truck could pull so I didn't want to go home without away bars. Luckily there was a camping world sort of nearby (2 hours round trip) but they didn't sell the parts alone just the whole hitch setup. So I bought a curt 2p weight distribution hitch since that's all they had so I could get my camper home. I will say that it is very sturdy and well built, just very frustrated that we were missing a part so I had to leave, drive an hour to find a replacement part and ended up needing to buy the entire hitch since they didn't have just the part alone. It added over 2 hours onto an already very long day, but Amazon luckily accepted the return so I wasn't out money buying 2 hitches. In hindsight I suggest opening the box and making sure all contents are there before relying on this if you're planning to pick up a camper and use it immediately. That's my fault for not checking but minus two stars for the frustration and time added to our trip. But overall it seems well built and very heavy duty, I ended up with the 2p system since that's all I could find nearby but that seemed to work out ok too and did the job overall. I would recommend this product just make sure everything is in the box before going to pick up/hook up a camper if you plan on moving it that same day.

Packaging was spot on, not easy for a bulky item like this. Setup and instructions were great. Two reasons to subtract a star. One, it didn't come with a ball. How many people are going to put anything other than a 2-5/16 ball on an 8000 pound hitch? Just include the ball. Its not easy to find a ball with the correct specs for the hitch either. Secondly the keepers for the bars are extremely chincy. Not sure if this will be a problem but my last hitch was lighter duty and had much thicker better fit and finish keeper pins for the bars. These look like someone cut them out of 1/2" flat stock in their garage with a cheap cutting torch. Not what I would expect from an expensive hitch.

Well built, easy to install. Allowed me to pull a 5500 lbs dry travel trailer very comfortably with a GMC Canyon.

Exactly what the doctor ordered. It arrived before the date posted and this one was intact!! I had ordered one earlier from a different source and it arrived in a destroyed box and one bars was missing. Upon inspection all the parts were present as listed. It takes some mechanical knowledge to install it correctly but the instructions were clear enough for me to “connect the dots” if you will. I’ve been an industrial mechanic for 36 years. Good seller and product. I will recommend to get it from this seller.

So far so good! It was delivered a bit late. Was fairly easy to install after watching a YouTube video. Makes a noticeable difference in towing a RV.
