Can this be used to secure a curtain rod into a wall?

The simple answer is yes….but it depends on the material of the curtain rod. Damp will also make securing it difficult as will the stress on the joint. The joint should be mechanically sound. The surface should be roughened to allow The Isopon to grip. Isopon will not successfully grip to some shiny materials like plastics. Before committing mix up a small amount and apply it to an inconspicuous area and leave to cure. Try scraping it off with your nail or a small piece of wood like a lolly stick. If it comes off easily the answer to your question is no. If it adheres the answer is yes. For a definitive answer email the manufacturers technical help line.

Can isopod p38 be used to fill exterior woodwork

Yes. It works very well. Just make sure to have the area prepped first and mix in small batches. It sands to a very smooth finish but is very light in colour which is ok if you are painting it but you may need to think of something else if varnishing or staining.

Will this bond to a gelcoated area as my car spoiler has imperfections

You must fine sand it first, then yes it will

Very strong repair, yet easy to sand when dry

I used this to repair a garden gate, it was rotten where the hinge went so I needed a strong filler, the wood filler I'd used in the past hadn't lasted. I dug out the rotten wood, used wood hardener and drilled in some short lengths of dowel for the P38 to stick to. It's worked perfectly, easy to sand too
