Santa Fe Coat Conditioner & Sunscreen, Non-Slippery Formula, 32oz Spray

This is my favorite grooming spray and first go to. Leaves coat soft, shiny, with medium slip. I would not recommend this on the saddle or girth area despite the description stating it is not slippery. It is not a show sheen level of slip, but it’s still there. The scent is quite strong but pleasant, I would recommending it be toned down a little but doesn’t seem to bother my horse. I almost dropped off one star because I have bought 5-6 bottles of this and had issues with the sprayer on 2 of them. They end up with too much pressure inside the bottle and will stop spraying. Because of the design, you can’t unscrew the sprayer to replace. I ended up poking a hole in the top of the bottle and squeezing what was left into another spray bottle. I know absorbine has these new sprayers on a few of their products, but I personally don’t like them. Go back to the previous design that has the normal spray pattern and ability to unscrew.

I absolutely love this product. It works so well detangling, and it has a much different type of soft than ShowSheen. It isn't a slippery detangler feel, it detangles and then the hair feels genuinely soft moreso than slick.

Best conditioner for horses

My FAVORITE body conditioner/sunscreen for my horse. It doesn’t leave him all slippery afterwards. And it smells good!

Every year my winter Horse is dark coat would get bleached out, after putting this on before he goes outside along with fly spray really helped keep him conditioned and protected! Not only that during the winter it keeps his hair moisturized and non-static! where I live the cold weather really causes a Lotta static electricity under his blanket, I love this product it helps solve the problem!

This is the best mane and tail conditioner - does NOT leave a sticky residue behind like other detangler - conditioner products. Even with the NW's wet and mud, I can still comb through my horses luxurious (thick and curly) mane and tail and haven't had to wash it or reapply the spray for a month. Less breakage and the hair looks and feels healthier. A friend let me try her spray and I instantly fell in love with it. Looking forward to the coming summer and spraying it all over in the hope that it does help block sun fade on my gorgeous Blue Roan!

I love this product and have used it for months. Just want to note that the last bottle I received was open and thank goodness it was in a zipped bag. Other than that, I love the product since I have a Friesian and don't like it when he fades in the summer.

I bought this spray with high hopes to finally find a product that might help me to groom the dozens of Husky and Husky mix dogs we have here at our rescue and sanctuary. I've tried so many products with limited success. Some of the dogs here are mixed with Pyrenees and have incredibly thick coats that get very matted in places over the winter. This helped me to brush these dogs out in a way that didn't hurt them due to pulling too hard on their hair. I'd also say it cut the time in half. I'm extremely grateful for this product.
