Good quality, great value, runs small/short (3XL)
This is an incomplete review, as I did not get a chance to ride with the jacket as it needed to be returned. I'm 5'10", 290lbs, and typically comfortably where a 2XL-3XL size tee shirt. The 3XL jacket was very snug across the stomach, and fairly short. Amazon makes returns a piece of cake, so I've got a 4XL coming, and hope to have more complete review of that in the coming weeks. Lesson being - if you're in doubt on size, go big. * * * Update * * * I reordered the jacket in a 4XL size. This was the size I needed, it fits well, and is sufficiently long enough for my long back. The jacket is quite warm, I was comfortable at 55* with no fairing at 70mph, and by the time it was 70* degrees out I was thinking about pulling the inner liner out. I was able to manage temps by opening the vents to get some airflow. That's perfect to me - it will be warm enough when it's cool, and not overbearing when it's hot (with the liner out). The quality seems incredible for the price point, making this jacket an excellent value. I'm sure there are nicer jackets out there, but at 3-5x the cost. The collar closes up nicely, as do the sleeves and waist. I could go for bigger pockets for the size of the huge modern cellphones, but overall no real complaints. For something I full expect to be "in the dirt" with at times, this is exactly what I was looking for.

Cool jacket!!!
This jacket fits perfectly and is so comfortable and it feels so heavy with the foam padding. I wear it every time I ride my e-bike. The pockets are so helpful as well. If you wanna protect yourself from getting injured, this is the jacket you need.

Good Jacket Despite a Few Items..
I'll start by saying I live in Southern Idaho. During most of the winter, snow covers the roads. However, there's pockets that create dry, normal road conditions and I get a chance to ride my bike during the winter months. Average temperatures for my area throughout winter are anywhere from 20F to 40F. -Warmth Given that I wear a few layers underneath this jacket to compensate for heat loss, this jacket does an excellent job at keeping me warm from the cold winter wind. I can ride in below freezing temps and be just fine for a decent amount of time. The thermal lining helps immensely, but a few other layers are needed to keep yourself warm. The jacket blocks out cold wind and moisture, so it makes this jacket very preferable to wear during a cold ride. Combined with the right gear, it'll feel like you're riding during the nice sunny months of not freezing your-ass-off season. -Protection The armor (Haven't used it....yet) is reassuring to have; the location of armor will protect you in the event of a crash. Even though this jacket has a back protector as well, I still ride with a separate back armor pack. Nonetheless, I trust the padding and it feels solid and true. -Features Here's where I have a few issues. The zippers are probably the worst functioning zipper I have ever used on anything. It doesn't want to zip together. You've got to line it up just right and then convince it to zip or unzip. I'm not at the worst yet, though. The waist connection zipper (to connect pants) is an absolute nightmare. I purchased these pants https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07LGXGNZT/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and because they are produced by the same manufacturer, I assume they would go together. I cannot get the waist zipper to combine with the zipper on those pants, so I can't fasten my jacket to my pants which creates a nice refreshing updraft of well below freezing air. I'm not a huge fan of that. -Overall Summary Though this certainly isn't a perfect jacket, it is undeniably a great buy for the price. It offers protection from crashes and cold weather. There's a few flaws with it that are annoying, but to me, the pros outweigh the cons. It's a good jacket that will keep you warm during the winter while protecting you.

Quality, Value, and Skateable
Great product - worth every penny. I don't use it for motorcycling, though. I use it as extra skin at the skatepark. It has elbow armor, shoulder armor, and back/spine armor - probably not enough for 60 mph, but awesome for 30 mph on concrete. Pretty hot in the summer - even with unzipped ventilation. Has a removable quilted liner for winter.

I'm suprised and impressed. *NOT WATERPROOF*
*Update: I stood in the backyard for less than 10 minutes in the rain and it soaked through almost immediately. NOT WATERPROOF AT ALL. That's OK though, still love the jacket and pants. Firstly I'd like to state I haven't been able to test the waterproofing yet, but honestly at its price, I don't have high hopes. But, that is OK! Here's why, for the price you are getting a hell of a jacket with a lot of great features. The quality is there, comfort is there, and features are there. So even if it's not waterproof, it's still absolutely worth the money for a good cold weather jacket. I plan on using some waterproofing spray on it prior to my first wet weather multi-state trip coming up in September anyways. I'm not a fan of pads or of liners so I immediately removed them and opted to wear one of my hoodies underneath. I'm 195 lbs and 5'9". And not exactly a fit 195 either haha. I've got a belly. Despite that, this jacket fit perfectly over the top of a hoodie. I ordered the large jacket and the 34x30 pants (I normally wear a 32 waist but I planed on using these as over pants. I'm wearing jeans underneath in the photos.) I have 18" ape hangers on my Harley and have had issues with other significantly more expensive jackets in the past not sitting correctly while I've got my arms in the air holding on to my giant handlebars. This is not the case with this jacket. There is a very small amount of "ride up" in the jacket while my hands are on the handlebars, but not enough to be any sort of an issue. Especially when combined and zipped together with the HWK riding pants. The take away: Is HWK name brand top tier multi-hundred dollar riding gear? No. However, the pants and jacket are worth a lot more than what they're charging. These are a fantastic option for a jacket well under $100 and pants well under $100.

Riding gear that's a great bang for the buck
This jacket really exceeded my expectation for the low price. It looks great, fits well, and is comfortable. I haven't ridden in the rain yet to test for waterproofing, but I've also ridden enough in the rain to know that no jacket is waterproof for long when it rains hard. I haven't ridden in really hot weather with it yet either so I can't speak to how well it ventilates and helps keep you cool. I have ridden on some pretty chilly days though and this jacket keeps me much warmer than I expected it to with the liner in place. The sizing is about right. I'm 6'1" and about 215 pounds so I bought the 2XL, which fits perfectly. I can wear a sweatshirt underneath comfortably. I also bought a pair of HWK pants to go with the jacket and they zip together in the back, which is a nice feature. Speaking of zippers, the zippers on these are really the only glaring weak point. They are quite small, which is not the norm for riding gear, and operating them with gloves on is a real challenge. I could almost knock a star off for the zippers, but I won't, because considering the low cost of this jacket it is still a great buy. This isn't top quality riding gear, but it is functional, and I've paid a lot more for the same or lower quality gear in the past.

Good bang for your buck. Hopefully the zippers last
I am a new rider, wanted something more than my Carhartt and didn't want to spend a fortune. I am 6'5 and 245 lb. I normally buy 2xl jackets to accommodate my size but fit well in an XL Tall size if it's available. I bought a 3xl as the description mentioned ordering a size up. It fits perfectly over my Carhartt bibs with two top layers. It's not true Cordura fabric but is labeled "Asian Cordura." Definitely made with a tough fabric. Plenty of adjustments. The zippers are small and definitely not manageable with gloves. It's late December in Ohio>I rode about 60 miles in the jacket. In the morning it was high 40s with intermittent sprinkles. Definitely kept me warm and dry. Comfortable at speed. As the day warmed near 60, I was warm as well. I opened the two front, one rear vent and let air go up the sleeves. Air circulated well under the liner and took the edge off. I definitely see this as a 3 season jacket as I'll probably need a mesh jacket for summer. I probably could have rode without the liner in the afternoon. I don't think this jacket will breathe at all when it gets muggy and damp; definitely a winter jacket if you live in FLA or Texas. Definitely a good jacket. If you are used to top of the line gear, this jacket definitely isn't for you.

Great jacket, low price not withstanding!
I've used the jacket for about 6 months, 4000 miles of riding. It seems to be very well made with good quality materials and zippers. Pockets are handy and zippered. I've ridden in some drizzle and it did well. It came with a light quilted liner which I haven't used yet. It is armored on the elbows and back in addition to the tough outer fabric and has some air vents. I bought one for my wife as well. I weigh 240 lb and bought the XL size which fits well over my shirt, vest and shoulder holstered sidearm. It is suitably warm and comfortable in 50 degree weather or higher. It is an excellent value for the money. I am going to purchase a 2XL so I can add another layer for colder weather.

Excelente producto
