This seems to work very well and secures the range finder to the cart easily and makes it very accessible. I keep on eye on it going over rough payment or bridges but so far it has stayed in place. Easy to remove and replace after taking distance. Remembering to put the rangefinder back in the bag after the round is the biggest challenge. Would recommend.

What an excellent mechanically designed it will not fall off on you but is easily taken out. The lock is another design plus if you were to have any doubt that it would ever fall off. My only wishes that it would not protrude so much from the rangefinder such that you can't use the original bag or case for it anymore you need a fatter one

The design and operating principle are very good. Unfortunately the poor quality of the plastic used for both the buckles and to attach the magnets to the mount and the rangefinder caused them to fail and the whole thing became useless. Should have been made of metal or a better grade of nylon or plastic.

I recently purchased a Golf Buddy laser rangefinder and wanted a product to provide me convenient access to it. I saw the ones with the magnets but didn't really care for that system. Then I found the Frogger latch-it device and am very happy with the purchase. It attaches securely with strong velcro straps on both the laser and the golf cart post. The cart side has the female attachment and the laser side has the male. To remove the laser for use, you just pull straight out with 3 lbs of pressure. When it's attached to the cart, it tilts slightly to one side so it won't fall off the cart since it only releases when pulling straight out. The only slight negative is that you have to take the straps off the laser if you intend to use the hard case that comes with the laser.

Accidentally broke connector on first use. Not realizing that the magnetic connector included a mechanical locking mechanism to help secure the range finder on a moving cart, I lightly pulled on my range finder which broke in my hand, rendering the strap useless. While I realize that the directions likely explained this, I feel that some warning should have appeared prominently somewhere on the packaging informing the consumer how delicate the connector is, along with an instruction concerning how to release the locking mechanism on the connector. Too bad as I really like the concept of the strap system and it’s apparent ease of use, along with the low-profile design of the strap that preserves the accessibility and functionality of the range finder’s controls. I currently have another strap for securing my range finder to the cart that uses only magnets, and they are too weak to ensure that the range finder stays attached to the cart through rough sections of the cart path, requiring me to tie the range finder to the cart with the device’s lanyard, which makes it more difficult than is absolutely necessary to take quick measurements with the range finder’s controls away from the cart.

It can avoid the drop out of range finder ( even without locking up the ring circle at each time of use), so secure and safe. It is easy and convenient to use as those magnetic attachments in the market (as no need to lock the ring cycle each time when use.) The ring cycle lock provides an ultimate security which cannot by provided by similar items like magnetic attachments in market. The device is so fantastic and pioneer. I like it very much and give it a 5 stars.

I ordered a new one because the plastic gears eventually stripped from use on my first. This replacement attachment is not tight, my rangefinder is bouncing all over if I hit the slightest bump in the fairway which is very disconcerting........though it hasn't, I keep thinking it's going to fall off onto the cement cart path. I don't understand how my first attachment was so sturdy and this one is not....it's not like I don't know how to use it. The straps on both the windshield bar and the rangefinder are super tight but the connector just wobbles and will not set firmly. Too bad....this is a great product and the best attachment I have found and I've tried many!!!

Very strong, especially with the locking mechanism.

While it works well, it is not durable. Used mine for not more than 8 rounds, and the magnetic connectors broke. Very disappointing.

The video from Frogger made this product look like exactly what I needed for my fiancé's Bushnell Tour V5 ranger so I made the purchase, got the package in a few days, then as I opened the packaging to take out the two straps, I noticed that the magnet part had already broken off. A little bit of fidgeting with the snap into the clip ended up breaking the plastic surrounding the magnet into multiple pieces. I read reviews here about the quality being bad but the rating was still high so I bought it. Please do not purchase this product.
