Outstanding earbuds for the price!
I bought these earbuds after reading a review on CNet.com about them, and I'm so glad I did. I was looking for a reasonably priced second pair of earbuds. I also own a pair of Jabra Elite 65t earbuds, and—at one-third the price—the EarFun earbuds are a better value. tl;dr: definitely recommended! The pros: 1. The EarFuns sound nearly as good as the Jabras (there's just a bit less bass with the EarFuns, but definitely not enough to justify the 3x price premium of the Jabras). 2. The EarFuns fit better in my ears than the Jabras (of course this will vary for each person). The CNet reviewer stressed getting a tight fit for good sound, but I don't have any problem with the fit. Sound isolation is just as good as the Jabras. 3. The EarFuns seem to stay connected (to the phone and to each other) better than the Jabras, and experience less interference. The Jabra's encounter static and dropoouts whenever I walk through automatic doors (say at the supermarket) and even in certain places around my house (maybe due to my wifi repeaters). This also happens at the gym if I'm in certain places. I haven't experienced this issue at all with the EarFuns—the connection to the phone and each other is rock solid, and the bluetooth range is excellent. 4. The EarFun's storage/charging case is MUCH better than the Jabra's. For one thing it's flat on the bottom (the Jabra's case is curved and cannot sit upright on a flat surface). The EarFun case also has magnets that hold the earbuds in the case while charging; the Jabra earbuds just sit loosely in their case. The EarFun case can also be charged wirelessly (as well as with the included USB-C charging cable); the Jabra case uses a micro USB charging cable. If you already have a wireless charging pad for your phone, this is a great bonus, since you don't have to worry about the charging connector wearing out over time. Cons: 1. The EarFuns can't control the sound volume. I realize this is a premium feature, but I miss it compared to the Jabras. 2. The EarFuns don't have the auto-pause feature that the Jabras do (removing one earbud from your ear pauses the music until you put it back in your ear). Again, a premium feature, and you *can* pause the music from either EarFun earbud by tapping the button. 3. The EarFuns seemed a bit picky about pairing with multiple devices, at least initially. I had to re-pair them a couple times, and once even had to reset their connection to each other (this is covered in the instructions). But I haven't had to do either of those recently, so maybe that was just me getting used to operating them. 4. The print in the user's manual is SUPER TINY and printed in gray, not black, ink. I'm in my 50s, and even with reading glasses I couldn't make out the text and infographics. I had to use my phone's camera as a magnifying glass to read the instructions. It's possible they're available online (I didn't try to find out), but I suspect even younger folks will have trouble reading the instructions. To be determined: I use earbuds mostly for music listening, not making phone calls. I know the Jabras work reasonably well for that, but I haven't had the opportunity to use the EarFuns on a call, so I can't comment on how well they work for that. Conclusion: If I hadn't gotten a great deal on my Jabras (I paid less than half the list price due to a couple of online deals I was able to take advantage of), I would be really pissed that I'd paid so much when I could have bought the EarFuns for 1/3 the price and gotten an overall better value. The EarFuns are going to stay in my gym bag, and I'll use the Jabras around the house. I'm, even considering buying another pair of EarFuns for listening in bed. As I write this in mid-December 2019, I've only had the EarFuns for a few days, so it's possible my rosy outlook will change if they turn out to be duds later. I will update this review in a few weeks after I've used them for a while. But as of right now, I definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a reasonably priced set of earbuds that have terrific sound. The pros definitely outweigh the cons, and for the price you can't beat them. UPDATE October 15, 2020: still loving my Ear Fun Free earbuds! In fact, I just bought a second pair, and the new model has volume controls, which The last model didn't have, and Even other earbuds that are twice the price don't have this feature. You will not go wrong with these earbuds!

Great cheap headphones
I've had these about two weeks now and they're actually pretty good for the price. Here's a few minutes of stream of consciousness regarding my experience so far: Comfort could definitely be improved, though I'm a little finicky with in-ear style headphones. The silicone(ish) earpieces get uncomfortable after about an hour and it takes a bit to figure out how to get it to sit right. If you aren't careful to equalize the pressure as you put them in, it sounds muffled and quiet. Battery life is impressive. I use them all the time. If you listen with just one ear for a bit, you can easily charge the other and switch for zero interruption. Kinda cool that you can use either one independently or both together; gets my inner electronics geek curious how they're doing that - it's a neat trick. Signal range is actually pretty impressive for what they are. I had expected it to be like 15ft being such a small device running bluetooth, but I've had them up to 30ft line of sight or maybe 15ft through two walls. Nice. Definitely adequate to set a phone by the kitchen sink and clean the entire room without any dropouts. Audio quality is a difficult thing to rate. I'm a musician and sound engineer so I'm pretty particular about saying something "sounds good". That said, for the average person, these are probably adequate but not remarkable. Most people like things pretty bass-heavy which these are not. They're slightly mids-heavy and medium fidelity, though they will respond (even if not evenly) across pretty much the full sound spectrum. The way you have them situated in your ears has a dramatic effect on the sound quality though so definitely lost a star for these earpiece sleeves and ergonomics. I can confirm they are at least IPX5 (splashing water in any direction) but they are absolute rubbish if you want to listen in the shower. Incredibly uncomfortable and they like to eject themselves from your ears at very inopportune moments. It is possible to pair one ear with one device and the other ear with a different device, but it's difficult to do and the moment you return either of them to the charging case, they synchronize again. The button on the earpieces takes a bit of force to press and I have yet to use it without messing up how it's positioned in my ear. It's mostly fine for hitting play/pause but the other controls are too cumbersome for me to find them useful. Taking phone calls on these works just fine with one ear or both. No complaints there. So yeah, if you want inexpensive wireless earbuds that are great for doing dishes, throwing under a pair of earmuffs while cutting the grass, working on cars, or even light exercise, I'd definitely recommend these. If you're looking for something you're comfortable wearing for an entire day, sound amazing, have actual noise cancelling, or function as a status symbol, probably keep looking.

Want great sound and at the right price? Shop here for EarFun!!!
The EarFun Free 25 Wireless Earbuds have been my daily work companion since I bought them in January. I use them throughout the week for when working long hours during a busy workweek, workouts at the gym, calling friends and family, biking to work and around town, etc. The sound quality is great and everyone tells me how clear the conversation is!! I have even used them to listen to binaural beats to focus at work or end a very busy day. They fit into my ears perfectly because they come with different sizes to accommodate the shape of my ears. And they are small enough to not be obtrusive when wearing them. And the charging case fits right in my bag or pocket. Just pop them in and start listening!! I can’t recommend them enough and the PRICE IS RIGHT!!

These are killer, way better than I'd expect for the money
I like having an affordable pair of headphones for high risk situations, leaving (forgetting) at the office, etc. Although I have both the Sony WH-1000XM3s and WF-1000XM3s, I found myself wanting a wireless earbud equivalent to the Plantronics BackBeat Pro 2s I leave at work. For further background, I have a range of other headphone at home like the Sennheiser HD650, Audio Technica ATH-AD900, and more... so while I go in to $50 headphones with tempered expectations I also don't want garbage. The Koss Porta Pros are also one of my most used models of headphone (I own several pairs), but they also punch above their weight. I tried the Anker SoundCore Life P2s and found it nearly impossible to get a consistent fit with them. I also find the long stalk style design they use to look a bit goofy, although that's far from a deal breaker. The inconsistent fit significantly affected my ability to get a proper seal and as a result affected whether there was any bass or overall balance to the sound from the Ankers. The buttons on the Ankers also required enough force and clicked noticeably enough that they were uncomfortable to operate. I did not want to spend big money trying different third party tips and I also don't want these to isolate or seal as well as the Sony WF-1000XM3s with Comply tips and ANC on, so I wasn't going to put Complys on them. After returning the Ankers I thought I'd give these Earfuns a try as they had very positive reviews overall. To say I've been impressed has been an understatement. I'd love to see a larger sized eartip included but the L size seems to be working for me. Fit is massively more consistent than with the Ankers and the sound quality as a result is consistent. These have a nice full sound with pleasantly extended and punchy bass, as well as even overall tonal response without harsh sibilance or other major issues. The charging case is simple but effective, and pretty compact. I've not tried the wireless charging capability but I have to admit that's a neat bonus. Battery life both of the case and the earbuds themselves has been quite good overall and the built in charge indicator for the case is a nice bonus over the Ankers. Like the Ankers (and unlike the Sonys), these can be listened to with just one earbud. They automatically switch to a mono mode (I tested to be sure) and have no problem swapping in and out of using one or two buds. They also work fine in the shower or rain so far. Another improvement over the Anker Life P2 is the button on each earbud seems to be a bit of a softer press. While it's still a physical button and not touch like on the Sonys, they're less unpleasant to operate than the Anker's buttons. Overall these are a no-brainer and I've been recommending them to friends in the market for something affordable. They're much better than they have any right to be. While I've had a couple hiccups with connectivity while I was testing things and trying to figure out how to pair to new devices, it's not really a major flaw or issue. These, like the Ankers, can only pair to one device at a time so you just have to be prepared to deal with manually repairing if you want to change what they're connected to.

Charging Case often defective over time
They were good earbuds but the charging case has a problem the gets worse as the months go by. I first had the original earbud ones which lasted me a long time until the case started having trouble charging them (I had those ones a while so wear and tear makes sense) so I bought these. These upgraded earbuds have better sound but the charging case also started having the problem of not charging them when placed inside after a few months. But still I bought ANOTHER thinking it was a fluke with that one. But no. I bought my latest one in January and now it's March and the earbuda are having trouble charging in its case. Sometimes one bud will charge and the other won't. Most time it's both. And I can see when it is or isn't charging by the earbud charging percentage on my phone when it's connected so I KNOW it's not charging. So nowadays I'm taking them into and out of the case just trying to get it to charge and looking at my phone to see if it disconnected to charge or not. It's very annoying. And it inconvenient thinking it's charging in its case overnight and you wake up to go about your day with music only to hear the "battery low" sound when it was supposed to be charging. Not buying this brand again.

Begrudgingly capitulating to wireless? Look no further! Will win over all mid-aged luddites
I had been an apple addict since age 10 and in many ways still am -- but in my 40s kinda slowed down on keeping up with the pads, pods, watches (so dorky) as much as I still live in the apple ecosystem. I swore I'd never buy any sorta wireless earpod and honestly beats headphones are still trash (for 4 years had purchased pairs only to have them break in a few months). But, between driving more these days, trying to have relatively private hands free convos while my young daughter is around, and recently tearing my achilles ... I had to find something convenient. I was astonished at how affordable, easy to use and decent sounding these EarPods are! Why would anyone spend upwards of 100$ or more for others? Convenience -- these are super easy to set up, sync, and get started Price -- I think these are quite simply the best at this price point 35-50$ Sound -- they are not sennheiser or bose, but given how much else you get, they sound great. The bass is legit and all else is clear enough without being tinny (I listen to mostly rock, electronic, jazz, and not a classical music snob about levels at all) ... the volume is a little lower than I prefer even when maxxed out, but perhaps thats for the better as they are indeed just loud enough -- sorta like the EarPods themselves, just really good enough. Charging -- the case really can handle 4 full charges ... which is great. The case itself also charges quickly, and I just leave mine on my cheap wireless charger pad. I also like that the case is not digital and fancy ... the basic look and feel suits my style moreso than led/digital read outs. Buttons -- I love that there is a tactile button that you can actually feel depress. Others where you just tap always leave me pressing the wrong number of times. You get used to the Taps and holds for volume, skipping tracks and calls ... it kinda becomes intuitive after a few days. Siri - works perfectly ... really kinda amazing, especially if you have any sorta smart devices in your home. The cast I have on is making this aspect even more convenient but being able to turn on lights, thermostats, Apple TVs with these pods is awesome. I can see myself possibly in the future wanting something with a bit more audio oomph down the road, but I've also read that many people end up using these as spares -- for their office, car etc. Couple of other notes -- you cant sync them to multiple devices ... but its easy enough to disconnect them. I tried them with my Apple TV (for late night movie viewing) and they were solid. There is another option on Amazon (vankyo) that also appear highly rated, but they were out of stock and I dont really like those glowing buds or that readout on the case. And for those new to the pods, just be sure you kinda keep the case in a convenient location as they kinda act like the home base for these things. Otherwise you'll lose them, or the kids/dog etc will definitely let curiosity get the better of them. Highly recommended for first time pod newbies, spares, and those looking for best budget options.

Good value in a set of wireless earbuds
Bought 4 pairs of these. Three pairs are used constantly. When I first put mine in the ear, it was unexpected. The sound quality was good and I could hear very little outside noise. After some time they started to feel a little uncomfortable (perhaps a couple of hours, also please note I'm an older man so I was not used to having something in my ear for a long period of time). I tried swapping out the inserts for a smaller pair. Afterwards, I could hear more external noise and the sound quality suffered. I guess what I'm trying to say is that my satisfaction with the sound performance is directly tied to how tightly they are fitted within the ear canal. I've accepted this and put the larger inserts back on. Now I use them for an hour at a time when working or listening to music and then take a break. Battery life is great. I've only had to charge the case once since Christmas. The ear buds themselves have never been below 60%, according to phone. My kids use the other two pairs and use them all of the time. They seem very satisfied. UPDATE: Jan 25th Okay... An update on battery life. Spent the afternoon in a crowded area with a very loud sound system. Regardless of the reason for not paying attention to what is going on at this particular event, I chose to listen to Spotify during the event. These buds have been great. I have very few complaints. Had them in for about 3 hours. Current battery life still shows around 70%. The tight fit in my ear has all but blocked the external sound (it was very loud). I'm happy I brought them.

Good
First (and most crucial) impression: they sound great; not only for the price, but in general. I was about to return them earlier today. After having them plugged in all morning at my desk, I grabbed them for my lunchtime walk on the Green River Trail down here in the Seattle-area’s industrial valley. I became quite irritated when the buds informed me after five minutes that there battery was and they would be ceasing operations momentarily. I plugged them back in for the rest of the day , thinking maybe Jumbo, Free Willy, or even Greaseball had perhaps used my charger for something and perhaps only recently plugged my buds back in. They still showed no charge when I was getting ready for bed and wanting to listen to my audiobook. “Well this is just absurd” I said to Me. I ran to their website, downloaded the user guide (tossed the physical one they came with the set) and started troubleshooting. It didn’t take long for me to realize that I had been putting them in their case backwards - this, rendering charging impossible. It was a tad bit embarrassing when I realized I was essentially channeling my inner Boomer, but, in my defense: these are the first set of truly wireless earbuds I’ve ever purchased (previous Bluetooth headphones had a cable connection between the two ear inserts). I sort of just figured they wouldn’t even go in the slot designed for the other ear’s device. Having had the error of my thinking corrected, the buds are now happily charging over on a wireless charging pad and am looking forward to resuming their usage. The only other complaint I can think of is that I don’t care for the feature where you can tap this side or that and change things like the volume or go into a different mode. I’ll never use that and hate accidentally bumping those buttons if I am fiddling with them in my ear. Overall though, these are a great value. The sound is comparable to my Bose Bluetooth sets that recently died after 5 years of continual use. No complaints on that department. I’m not expecting that kind of longevity out of these, but maybe a solid 18-24 months of usage would be great.

Earbuds Work Perfectly
These earbuds do everything I expected. Pairing was a snap. Sound quality is good as is wearer comfort. In the past I've had issues with other earbuds staying in on my brisk morning walk. I've had no such problem with these. I have no problem recommending these as a good quality product at a reasonable price.

Alles in allem: Korrekte Kaufentscheidung👍

You can't go wrong
I read and watched so many reviews of wireless earbuds, to the point of tedium!! At the end of the day I needed earbuds that I could use all day, when out running listening to music and podcasts, to watching online movies and YouTube and for listening in bed to fall asleep. Water and sweat resistance was a must and a good fit with better than average sound quality as I listen to a lot of music. I also had to be sure of no lag on movies and YouTube video. All this without being able to try them first!!! Let's be honest, a lot of reviews are trying to sell you the product, so I'm always a bit sceptical, but you can soon cut through this and get a general feeling if a product is actually any good. These earbuds are, they are very good. They do feel and bit cheap when you first get them in your hand, it's that brittle feeling plastic, but when you put them in to listen, they feel great, super comfy. I walked around a bit with them in, they felt secure, so I decided to try them out in a run. No problems, a 6k run and they stayed in place no problems. Watching on line movies and YouTube you have no lag at all and the sound quality is great. For music they are very good indeed, they're not going to give you the immersive soundstage of the very top products that cost four or five times as much, but they are very good. Crisp highs, good miss and a nice bass, not boomy, just present and well crafted. The button controls work extremely well and have a good feel, not a hard press, just a nice click with enough resistance to avoid accidental pushes and but not so hard you push the earbud into your ear, spot on. You get skip forward/back, volume up/down, answer/end call, your assistant (Google in my case), play and pause, everything you need. Battery life has been excellent, at 50% volume they went just over six hours and recharged in the case in about and hour and a half. I'm delighted and honestly quite surprised. For the money they're excellent, even for more money they'd be excellent. The big test for me is always, if I lost them or something happened to them would I buy them again? Yes, definitely. Have an amazing day.

Punch way above their weight. Great value for money - as long as you don't mind the size
Lots to say about these buds! As background, I'm coming from having the Galaxy Buds and Galaxy Buds+, both of which broke within a year. I purchased these to see what a low priced option had to offer. I was swayed by online reviews and (admittedly) the CES award, and I was not disappointed! A strong caveat though: I have replaced the included ear tips with the SpinFit CP360 L for a perfect seal. With these tips, the EarFun buds sound great for the price. Good clarity, good low-end, good volume - no complaints. They don't quite have the crisp resolution of a very high-end model, but really that's a nit-pick at this price point. The battery life is absolutely bonkers. These easily last multiple days with the case - I typically don't drain the buds with extended use, and the battery capacity in the case is ample which makes charging a rare event. Not everything is perfect though. First, I'm not a fan of the physical button. I thought I would like it more than a capacitive surface, but I find it awkward to push the bud deeper into my ear to interact with it. Second, these buds stick out of my ear more than I would like. I think this is a trade off for the battery life. This may not be as noticeable to passersby as to the person in the mirror though. Third, they are physically large in my ear and that can feel uncomfortable with extended use. Lastly, there is no audio pass-through. This last point is a quibble since I was spoiled by having this feature on the galaxy buds/buds+. On the flip side, this means their passive noise cancellation in incredible. All in all, if you're looking to go fully wireless and are on a budget, these are an excellent option. Their form factor will not suit smaller ears, but if they fit you and you get a good ear seal, they are definitely worth your money.
