Taste wasn't for me (personal preference not product or seller's fault)
As far as the item itself, I highly rate it in terms of packaging, advised use by date etc and I even love the branding. The taste wasn't really for me, seemed to have a unique flavour and not enough heat. I originally got them to make General Tso's Chicken after hearing about it, but to mark it down for my own personal preference would be unfair. Having said that, it could have been the mix of other ingredients also that wasn't for me. Maybe I can find another use for them or maybe just try them on their own to give a more accurate opinion flavour-wise. But if you know you like the taste, these seem like a reasonable purchase for sure

Authentic Flavour for Mexican Cooking
Bought these chillies, along with some others, to make an authentic Camarones al Diablo, and it was delicious. The remaining chillies also look pretty stored in glass jars on my shelf ready for their next use!

Dried heat
Surprisingly hot once rinsed and stewed or blitzed adds a decent background heat

A Fiery Fiesta of Flavor – TAJÍN Dried Arbol Chilis
As someone who loves to add a bit of heat to meals, discovering TAJÍN's Dried Arbol Chilis has been nothing short of a culinary revelation. My kitchen was instantly elevated with the addition of these vibrant and potent chilis, neatly packed in a 75 g package that promises to kick any dish up a notch. Upon receiving the pack, I was impressed by the freshness sealed within. Despite being dried, the chilis retained a bright red color, indicating they were processed and packaged while at the peak of their quality. The aroma was an immediate indicator of the authentic spice experience I was about to enjoy – smoky, with a hint of earthiness that suggested these chilis would deliver on their promise of intensity and depth. The chilis themselves are wonderfully versatile. Whether I'm making a traditional Mexican salsa, spicing up a stew, or simply looking to add some complexity to my morning scrambled eggs, these Arbol chilis have been my go-to. Their heat level is robust without being overpowering, allowing the underlying flavors of the dishes to shine through in harmony with the spice. One of the standout features of these chilis is their texture. They crumble and blend easily when ground, making them perfect for homemade chili powders or to sprinkle directly into cooking pots. The skins are not too tough, which is often a concern with dried chilis, ensuring that they integrate smoothly into recipes without leaving unpalatable bits. In terms of heat, TAJÍN's Dried Arbol Chilis offer a delightful burn that is sharp and clean. Unlike some other chilis that may bring a muddled heat to the palate, these chilis provide a clear and invigorating spiciness that makes them a pleasure for those who appreciate a genuine chili experience. The packaging deserves a mention as well – compact, resealable, and sturdy enough to protect the chilis from breaking during transport. I appreciate the attention to maintaining the product's quality from shelf to kitchen. In the realm of value, this pack of chilis is priced fairly, especially considering the quality and the amount provided. A little goes a long way with these Arbol chilis, so this 75 g pack ensures I'll be enjoying their fiery kick for many meals to come. In conclusion, TAJÍN's Dried Arbol Chilis are a high-quality, flavorful addition to any spice lover's pantry. Their heat, flavor, and versatility make them a standout choice. I am thoroughly pleased with this purchase and will certainly be a repeat customer. These chilis earn a glowing five-star rating for their ability to transform the mundane into something memorable.
