Outdoor Wood Furnace Door Seal Kit

This was the perfect rope for the door seal on my Central Boiler. It took about 30 minutes to change, and the biggest part of the job was cleaning out the old adhesive. This kit came with about 4 times as much silicon as necessary for the new seal, but I will find a use for it somewhere. I had to trip about 8 inches off of the seal to fit the door. Great product!

Works great for multiple stoves. Has great fit and performance, very easy to use and install. Very durable and so far still has a great appearance.

Bought this for the price, as opposed to $50 for a rubber gasket...went into the door channel really easy, but it remains to be seen how well it works...didn't take much pressure to close the door, which tells me it may not be a really good seal. Update: been two days burning since install....shut down the lever to force the reburn and the door started leaking smoke at the top...the rope gasket didn't work, even with an additional layer of silicone...going back to the rubber gasket...should have done it first off...live and learn.

These are very straightforward, you’ll need a hook type device to pull out the old seal and a few other tools to remove the old silicone adhesive. It’s important to get the “trough” clear of old silicone before installing this replacement rope seal. About a 15 minute job with the right tools.

Very timely shipping

This came with 9ft, 5in of gasket material. This was more than enough to replace the door gasket of my CL6048. I actually had about 5-inches left over. Perfect fit and easy to install. Toughest part is cleaning out the old sealant from the groove after pulling out the old gasket. Used a putty knife, screwdriver, and then wire brush to clean it out before installing the new gasket.
